Only issue I really have is with torrentleech, they're so retarded they don't embed rar tags into rss or irc so I've just been banning release groups within radarr/sonarr themselves. Can't think of a much better way, would just remove torrentleech from being indexed but I have a huge ratio. I'm using rtorrent and I guess qbittorent has a handler for deleting rars before they begin downloading, would kinda fuck up the automation though.

Some of them are pretty bad, yeah. But I've been seeing improvements with more recent anime. I especially like the brazilian portuguese dubs of Dungeon Meshi and Violet Evergarden. Both, I guess? I mainly get dubs from CapybaraBR, got in during the open signups in christmas. They have blurays/dvds but also enforce a rule that every show/movie must have at least a portuguese sub, even if there was never a dub for it, and releases with dubs can trump releases without them. So, in a way, the tracker is focused on subbed/dubbed content.

Also, for any brazilfag who might be reading, this site is a really good compilation of national trackers, among other things. I wonder if the /ptg/ could be expanded to add sections to national trackers, seem like a rather underdocumented space.

Well, I'm not in it, so can't speak on it. I understand why staff put up restrictive rules, such as only one account per lifetime and high requirements to join. If anyone could make an account at any time, a lot of people would simply make a lot of accounts whenever they get banned, retention would go to shit, and it would become essentially a public tracker with extra steps.

At the same time, you need new people to join if you want the community to stay alive. Old users die and get bored, so eventually they'll stop using and uploading to the site. New users also make mistakes, it's natural, and while I absolutely understand the frustration of the 50th user this week asking the most basic of questions that is clearly documented on the FAQ, everyone makes mistakes, ans you gotta have some leniency.

I don't know what the solution could be. I'm not tracker staff, and I respect the (often unappreciated) amount of work that goes into maintaining a quality tracker. I understand why rules have to be strict, sometimes. But I also can't help but imagine that things could be a bit more relaxed, if the community is meant to live on and thrive as time goes by.

It's allowed but besides being very marginally better for racing in some cases, it's slightly worse than qBit convenience wise, and also has less tooling around it like qui which was specifically made for qBit. It's definitely not bad at all, but it's just another torrent client and there isn't much of a reason to use it nowadays other than preference/habit
