i'm triple fucked

of course the market research analysts will put their career at the bottom in their market research chart
>>
data scientist is on here and i work with data scientists but i dont see anything like my job. i feel like it should be here though. weird
>>
>>108082162
Not even listed.
>>
I switched degrees two times in my youth and it's played out quite nicely

Business administration < software engineering < i.t. security
>>
my job as a middle aged neet where my rich father gives me $90k/yr for existing seems safe. I don't think ai can solve shame though.
>>
>>108084229
what shame buddy? your father who managed to build generational wealth has given you this life so you can enjoy it in peace. live and enjoy freedom on this earth and realize most people are in poverty and have to do shit they don't want to do just to survive like worthless slaves.
>>
>>108082162
I'll be doing just fine.
I am, however, surprised there are not more telephone sanitizers on that list. What about financial analysts (and not just personal financial analysts)? Or teachers beyond just business and economics and library science teachers (and what is the difference between the first two)? And what about accounting, auditing and management consulting? Big 3 and big 4 have cut junior roles big time. And when will modelling be wiped out?
Also surprising that concierges and hosts/hostesses are on the list.
>>
>>108084270
Might be trauma related. I hold him in angelic regard as he's amazingly generous to everyone. My mom however was a violent bipolar drunk that so consistently ruined every day on a laughably extreme level for about 32 years before she died that Ive isolated for decades and don't know how to feel good about anything. All I feel is guilt, executive disfunction, and a darkness that's physically distressing where creativity should be. My guess is he keeps paying over how terrible she was to us.
>>
>be truck driver

>My guess is he keeps paying over how terrible she was to us
so basically, your father loved you so much, he kept her from divorcing him so he could give you the money? that was my plan too but i wasnt able to prevent the divorce. anyway the west is completely dead as a result of this bullshit. you have a better opportunity to have children than 100% of white men in america because its going to be hard for your skank to claim child support from your fathers gifts to you
>>
>>108084683
>be truck driver
>10 years later
>obesity and dying of cancer
>>
>>108084742
He would have been better off leaving her but he stuck it out. I use the term hyperbolically negative existence because she'd scream and break shit literally every night, then in the morning she'd basically break into my room genuinely sobbing and saying she'd never do it again, only to do the same thing every time. She was truly split personality and I guess dad loved and tried to nurture the 2hours a day she was lucid and sane. Worse I inherited a spinal degenerative issue from here and I'm just always in sharp pain.
I'm too fucked up and no probably too old to date (45), I had three relationships and each one the girl proved to be just a step away from that nightmare so I shut down fast when they get retarded. Another thing I feel shame about not continuing the family line. I have a nephew and I just try to save and grow what I'm given to pass it to him when I probably eventually kill myself
>>
>>108082162

being a walking encyclopedia reciting facts about history is not actually what a historian does
>>

>>

If you’re selling additional concierge services to them too while you translate holy shit it’s truly joever for you. You have my sympathy.
>>
>>108084633

So use some of your money to get educated. Figure out how you can be like him for others! You could also consider volunteering to something you care about.
>>
im a NEETso....
>>
>>108085115
Volunteering would probably be healthy, I'm already educated, have 2 bachelors from Purdue and can't stop picking up new hobbies and getting adept with them fast. I just can't stick to one project, make it all coalesce into something real, or be around people. I haven't left my house outside of 2 medical emergencies in over 6 years sooo yeah it's pretty bad
>>
How can AI be a historian if relevant information (like crime statistics, Jewish surnames, symptoms of typhus…etc) are 100% censored? It’s also trained on historical documents that are selected with huge levels of progressive bias.
>>
>>108084836
>each one the girl proved to be just a step away from that nightmare
if there were decent women in the world, men wouldnt put up with that. thats the lie that pastors tell you when they preach about marriage using nothing but the Bible text and no reference to the lived experience except to rail against men who beat their wives in order to imply that thats the only problem with marriage. thats why all the the pastors need to be beaten to death so they can go to hell now instead of later and maybe be replaced with actual Christians. every word from a pastor about marriage is i got mine fuck you except from papist pastors who say i dont got mine fuck you
>>
>>108085492
You seem to believe that the job of a historian is to tell the truth. That is not the case. The job of the historian is to learn a narrative and regurgitate it.

Will be gone after that anon. Wealth rarely survives several generations. They either waste it all away or their bloodline stops since they are degenerate and decadent.
>>108084683
Shit larp. Every other trucker is whining how unprofitable the profession is if you're not under some big corpo like Walmart or something.
>>108084871
99% of "historians" work other professions like being a primary school teacher.

Employment is a dying concept.

You might halt this trend in one country or in one region, but another place will surge and smother those who refuse advancement. A nation can grow incredibly wealthy for itself and its people through technology, seizing industry and wielding military via technological prowess, and it will thus do so to its best ability. All nations would need to collaborate against this, which wll never happen.

We must find a way to live with this change, not be consumed by it into oblivion. Fight it to delay its progress, buy time to gather support, find a way that we are not simply culled by technology as unemployment skyrockets and venture mobility collapses. There's already mass agreement to cull populations (all political factions against their enemy factions), we will end up killing each other in desparation if we do not prepare now.

There needs to be social support systems in place, where technology has wrought mass havoc on employment, the people affected by it are directly financially compensated. Things will only get worse as time goes on. It is already starting to get bad out there in terms of employment and cost of living, we need to do something about it now or vagrancy will grow so unsustainable and threaten peace.

Society is not robotic impulse, it's humanity. We must act now to preserve humanity in a world increasingly hostile to humanity.

Don't worry you can be part of the new space program. Rockets need biofuel and this is where you become important.

>>
>>108082162

good
>>
>>108089130
i was saying i cant answer op because my job isnt listed.
hypothetically cars could be redesigned to make automated maintenance viable.
>>
>>108090597
Alternatively, AI driven bots could do the car maintenance, even drive the car for you, do the washing and cleaning, iron your shirts, assist you in your daily life like the staff of the elite. most of what we have and still make are made to be operated and maintained by humans. It makes sense then to make humanoid robots.

So in the ner future when everyone can afford robots that handle all trivial and menial tasks and people are free to do other things, what would they do? Poetry? Exploring other planets? Become gentlemen scientitsts? Or just watch endless TV?
>>
I'm a professional product owner at a Fortune 500 company. I don't write code AT ALL (though I can write decent python and C#). My job is mostly meetings.

My sole responsibility is that the product is not retarded and in this neither AI nor any of you can replace me.
>>
>>108091875
I think there will be a demand for common sense for many years still. AI do not have it, and frankly many humans lack this too.
>>
>>108082162
>history

yeah, let's have AI dictate history to us, as if it wasn't already the most astroturfed liberal art on the planet

>>

How are these computed?
>Mathematician
>0.91 coverage
>0.74 completion
Coverage is how often a job's tasks appear in Copilot conversations, and completion is how often they're completed successfully. But what tasks is this assigning for mathematicians? For it to appear that often it makes me think it's counting a lot of students putting algebra homework into it.
>>

>>

How the fuck is a mathematician above a web developer on that list?
>>
>>108095059
They have LLMs that can prove undiscovered problems, but I have yet to see a secure vibe coded website. AI web slop is constantly being hacked if it has any value to be hacked.
>>
>>108095059
According to >>>/sci/scg being a mathematician is hopeless for getting a job.
