do you get anything useful out of training loss graphs on any modern model? my experience is that i get unreadable fluctuating graphs in chroma, z-image and klein, so i'm wondering whether my hyperparameters are just dogshit (though the resulting loras seem ok and work as intended) or maybe this is just how flow matching models behave, contrasted with sdxl which had well-behaved loss graphs and it was clear when the lora was starting to plateau just looking at training loss, without having to check validation loss or generate samples.

adamw, constant 3e-4 lr, rank 16 alpha 1, 1024px with various ratios, captioned dataset of around 50 pics, dynamic timeshift on, logit normal, 100 warmup steps, around 3k steps, gradient checkpointing on, fp8 quant for te and transformer
the lora actually works on the base AND on the distill, which i have not been able to replicate so far
would be great if someone could test this with their own dataset and see how it turns out
