Modding it is the best ideaLinux is an option but just get a PC.If you mod it and for quite a bit of work you can get RetroArch on it. It does make a pretty good retro setup. I put a Bliss-Box Bridge on mine to use my older wired controllers. Helps for 3/6 button games. Or just use gamebato and get free stuff.
