I've been on the internet for 20 years and I didn't know you could drag text boxes in the corner to make them bigger
>>108107441Like what? The reply box on 4chan? It literally has a symbol in the corner showing you that you can do that. Although I don't blame you for thinking it was just a stylistic choice.I can't really think of any other examples, but then again I rarely use any social media outside of 4chan so that might be why.
>>108107666Also, hail Satan, I guess...
>>108107441I wish all elements supported this, would be nice.
>>108107441that used to be a mac feature that got spread because it was useful..in 2006 it wasn't a thing
>>108108214Fuck I just realised I've been on the internet for nearly 30 years. There's been so many UI improvements over the years, probably mostly due to normies not being able to figure out how to use menus.
>>108107666Not on all OSsI don’t remember seeing it on TahoeIn before >Tahoe

>>108109058start clicking this
>>108109058Yes
>>108107441yes, that's the resize feature that came with HTML5/CSS3 around 2010 or so. It wasn't available earlier and some sites still disable it because it can break the layout when you resize the textarea.https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/Reference/Properties/resize
A lot of people, even oldfags, don't seem to know that if you put your email address in the Options field when submitting a post, you will receive an email every time someone replies to that post. It always astounds me when people who've been browsing this website for 15+ years don't know shit like this. I showed the Thread Watcher to a 40-something-year-old that claimed to have been shitposting here since 2007 and it blew his mind.
