>>10817685120k for aiWhy not get 2 pro 6000 for the same price? Then you can actually run a decent model at a decent speed?
>>108176851>break free from your shekels
OP here sometimes i stick things in my butt and do gay shit
>>108176851you be you brother, thats the path forward. owning your own local inference agents doing all your work. multiple mac minis are perfect, just have each independent mac minis be a unique agent on their own doing the task.

>>108177563If you're spending 12k+, buy dedicated AI hardware https://tinygrad.org/#tinybox
you're going to destroy the hardware. not to mention (((apple))) solders everything
It's impossible that 5 mac minis are equivalent to something hosted on a large datacenter snorting 1500x more electricity. Maybe it's the case that it's like 50% there with infinitely less resources for a lighter kind of use, and that's fine.
What would you actually do with that? Like build a social media site but with different buttons? There's not that much software that is actually useful, let alone groundbreaking.

>>10817773412k for 4x16gb 9070 XT or 10k for 512gb uma mac studio I wonder which will run larger models. I hate macfags as much as anyone but this is the one use case (tm) of apple shit now.
>>108176851>super powerful local modelsRight.

>>108176851>Im boouilding!yeah, but what? what could possibly be so high impact while still able to be automated to be run by error-prone agents? ultimately all u will accomplish is creating more low impact busy-work because that is all that can be handled autonomously without breaking

>running multiple AI agents churning out slop 24/7What is the use case for this? I honestly can’t imagine what I would want to do with such a setup.
>>108181098I'd make a completely artificial vtuber to rack up simp money, I wonder if it could produce enough tokens to do a real time conversation along with a voice model and also outputting motion vectors to control the vtuber model.
>>108177563>Why not get 2 pro 6000 for the same price?Energy cost of running it will be more way more than the macs lol
>>108181245The reason this matters is that energy will be capped for shitizens soon. Why would you ever feel entitled to the resources corporations need!
>>108176851can it run crysis?also what the hell, 512GB unified memory, 14TB ssd storage, 32 core CPU in a box smaller than my toaster for $14,000 is actually a good deal, even more amazing that apple is the one offering it. gamers btfo'd
