Local Chads, how does it feel to do nothing and win?
>>
this is a temporary problem
once yhwh-claude emerges, all usage limits will disappear
until then subsidised token are only available in claude code

Yes, once the cargo arrives, all will be well. We just have to pray harder and give them more money.
>>
>>108182154
Always has been like that.
But people were so retarded they kept violating the ToS so now they have to put it in plain sight.
>>
can someone explain to me why this is important?
>>
>you may access our service through our API using any client you like, at per-token pricing
>alternatively we offer a discounted flat rate if you agree to only use it with our own client
I'm not sure why I'm supposed to be upset about this. There are enough viable alternatives that it can't plausibly be considered anti-competitive.
>>
>>108182154
This is from January and you can still automate Claude code you just can't use the token as a substitute API key.
>>
>>108182154
I do not understand how this is a bad thing. Please someone tell me. Is that just them wanting a specific type of token that is not problematic?
>>
>>108183427
It's just niggers begging for free shit.
>WAAAH I have to pay market-rate for tokens?!?!? Wtf!! reeee, let me use my heavily subsidized rates!!!

Local model bros I'm enjoying this

Let me explain it to you quite simply.
I learned to code.
You use AI to code.
Now, the AI owner can gatekeep how/when/where you can code, and at what price.
The AI owner cannot stop me.

>Local Chads
Frontier models are an order of magnitude better than local models, and I am an order of magnitude better than a frontier model.
>>
>>108182283
whats your solution? go back to pre-ai? not happening
>>
>>108184497
i would argue that those tokens are all free as you can just make a new account. you should be using a local model anyway. i still do not even know how some tokens are subsidized and others are full price, but if i were you i would consider local tokens to be the real deal.

need give money to corporation, must give money to corporation
>>

There is a market rate cost per input and per output token for direct API calls to Claude.
If you buy a Claude subscription and authenticate with your paid account, the tokens you use are "free" (until you hit your usage limits). If you actually constantly use your subscription tokens and run up to the limits nonstop, you are getting far far far more tokens than you would have been able to buy for the $25/mth cost of the subscription.

Oh it is very much happening, which already has you and your ilk scared shitless.
