It is a multimeter dt830b, how do i add buzzer to it? Most guide i read point it to R14 for -ve and probe for +ve, when I try to connect them it make some clicking noise that is barely audible, I think it is not as straightforward for a clone device?
I doubt you're gonna get a straight answer, just solder it in the gnd and poke around with the other pin until you find where it's buzzing when it should.

>>108188618You are supposed to use a piezoelectric buzzer instead of a magnetic one like you did. Magnetic buzzers have a much lower impedance, so they can not be driven directly from a microcontroller. Your multimeter looks like it has a footprint for a transistor, so you may be able to hack in one in order to drive a magnetic buzzer, but I wouldn't bother. Also, what kind of shitty multimeter lacks a buzzer? Even a shitty 10$ Aliexpress multimeter has one.
