New trillion $ start-up idea.
>AI data centres under water

We use geothermal under water magic to power them and then we pump the cool water from the above to cool them.

What do you think /b/uddies?
>>
Sounds retarded.
Microshit tried it for their azure infrastructure and gave up on this shit fairly quickly.

We should meme toddlAIrs into doing this so they all fuck off into the ocean and implode.
>>
I’m not your buddy, pal
>>
>>108190269
That's just Microshit retard. They failed at everything. Ignore their data.
>>
>implode
Who named this shit that way
>"Hey guys, we discovered a phenomenon related to compression of an object under a big force amplified gradually, but over a body with low flexibility. How should we name it?"
>"What happens from it?"
>"Well, a big amount of accumulated energy in the form of amplified force is violently and rapidly applied in instant on the body in the moment of the breakpoint of the upper shell and..."

There's already a dozen companies doing it. Congratulations for coming late to the party and thinking you're the star.

I have to admit, the idea of using a former mineshaft under the seabed for an ultra-secure datacenter has crossed my mind a few times. Being where I am the one that comes to mind is the old Wabana iron mine on Bell Island, but for several reasons (not the least of which that it's looking like this now) that's probably not the most practical choice.

What do you think his last thoughts were when he got turned into tomato paste?
>>
>>108191010
It's kind of weird how the company up until that point was pretty successful and not completely pants on head retarded.
>>
>>108190646
It's determined by the direction it goes it.

Sounds like the setup to an old joke.
Q: when a bug hits a car windshield what's the last thing that goes through his mind?
A: his ass

kind of a throwback to a bygone era when there were enough bugs that it was a common sight to see them hitting a windshield

Wokeness is a hell of a drug.
>>108191010
Most experts think they were turned into paste so quickly that their brain wouldn't have had time to process any sensory input before they became unable to process anything.

I think that data centers should be split up into smaller, mini data centers.
they'll install them inside of hot tubs, and give them out for free to volunteers.
these volunteers will get a tax credit towards their energy bill, and a free subscription to an AI of their choice.

The only catch? when you're in the hot tub, its being live streamed for everyone to see.

Microsoft already did that

>Wokeness is a hell of a drug.

The company was 100% white. If anything, it was his belief in white supremacy that caused the disaster.
>>
>>108192501
I'm happy there's less bugs.

>>108192505
>Wokeness is a hell of a drug
He said safety is woke. So he was a supremacist
>>
>>108193158
He really thought that anyone who thought the tech needs to be tested or certified was wrong.
>>
>>108193158
he explicity said that white dudes are old and fired them ,specially the safety white dudes
>>
>>108190229
>geothermal
Only works in a couple goldilock locations ... and those locations have earthquakes, which you will be blamed for because you are disturbing the existing equilibrium by gigawatts.
>>
Stockton Rush is the best tech billionaire
I wish the others would follow his example
>>
>>108191010
>Should have hired 50 year old white guys---AAAAACK
>>
>>108190229
IIRC Microsoft and Google already have tried this already
>>
Why don't they just use the heat from the data centers to generate electricity to help power the data centers?

>>
>>108194076
The old white dude Rush was referring to was just the guy that disagreed with him whom he fired. No colored people was responsible any part of the design, construction, or testing.
>>
>>108192505
best way to go honestly. If I had cancer I'd chose this option. Just dive daily until lights out.
>>
>>108199856
No one mentioned race except you. Anons said woke because he wanted it to be a young woman in control. But you knew that when you made your disingenuous post trying to derail the thread, proving once again that the only debate tactic leftists have is pretending to not understand things.
>>
>>108191086
It wasn't, you're uninformed, much like all the clients who voyaged in their shitty hacked together sub
>>
>>108200101
My point still stands. Colored people had nothing to do with Rush and his passengers being turned into meat paste at the bottom of the ocean.

just build data centers in the arctic circle
theres lots of land up there that has been contaminated by industry computers dont care if they get heavy metal posioning
>>
>>108190229
There's no reason why you'd have to do this underwater. Geothermal energy above-ground does both the cooling and powering you want all at once.
>>
>>108190229
Maintenance would be virtually impossible, but yeah, other than that niggle awesome idea anon
A+
>>
>>108200513
and nobody said they were. therefore you are a clown.
>>
>>108190229
This is gonna sound retarded, but I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with using a game controller to control a vehicle. Most cars are drive by wire.
What's wrong with my line of reasoning?
>>
>>108201789
>What's wrong with my line of reasoning?
Nothing. Literally US military in some cases swapped from custom-made controllers to xbox 360 controllers because
>they're cheap af
>they work better than customs
>most people are at least somewhat familiar with them which leads to easier training and fewer errors
>>
I think Stockton just had a death wish at the end
He literally KNEW this would happen

And yet he killed others along the way while decrying it was safe.
Despite not doing a scale test of the new hull and ignoring past failures of the old one.
But damn, if you want to die without knowing it, doing it at the bottom of the ocean next to the Titanic is the way to go
