Why aren't 1:1 monitors more common? Especially something like OLED with true black so you could have something like a 1920x1920 1:1 monitor and run things at 1920x1080 letterboxed if you needed to. It feels like it should be perfectly usable.

Too based for this world.

Deprecate every display resolution that is not 2^N.

Easiest to manufacture would be 1920x(2x1080)=2160, so cutting 4k's in half.
Either way, dual 9:16 does it for me.

>thinks having two monitors with half the resolution is better than having one monitor with full resolution
Why are multi-monitor fags like this? What benefit do you gain from moving your pixel real estate onto another bezel?
>>
>>108193416
single screen requires constant alt tabbing apps or switching workspaces. incredibly inefficient. also having fullscreen dedicated frames for two apps >> two windows on one screen.

the only argument you can make for a single screen is movies or gaymes, i have projectors for those.
>>
>>108193383
What does that image have to do with that?

hahahahaha you really outed yourself with this one

explain.

only 3rd worlders and boomers care about projectors, and the latter only ever use them on cruise ships or the like and are always complaining about them. How brown are you?
>>
>>108193974
The projectors I'm currently using were $20,000 and $60,000 when new. The chance you're whiter than me is near zero.

Leave and never come back, moron.

I would like a 3:2 high refresh rate monitor
>>
>>108193288
Forget 1:1, I want 5:4 and 4:3 back. Bonus points if it's WOLED and has high refresh rates. Is it just so hard to make? I guess the normiefag cattle audience matters more.

Based. Thinking of getting one in the future especially if I'm going to travel. Does it scale up well?
Multimonitor is good for KVMs, VMs and similar things. I would want to assign 1 monitor to each PC or VM for ease of management, that's about it.

link rel is what you want, I was about to get one but decided to go for 2x 27" 2k ProArts which give me the same real state but at a lower dpi
>>
>>108195857
that isn't high refresh rate, but I do use this panel in the Huawei Mateview because I ordered it before BenQ released this.

120Hz isn't high? Okay.
