I thought about the legal issues around sharing LoRA the other day, and I don’t think it’s really a problem that open weights have to deal with. What we need is a tool that makes training LoRA easy; something like a smarter and smaller model that can handle the hyperparameter tuning for us. The ultimate goal is to lower the barrier to entry for gen music.
