Why hasn't the AI industry tried to put any spin on the RAM crisis (like "you should be happy for us, we're making computing better")?I feel like we're in a post-spin age where companies don't even need to pretend there's a silver lining on their shittiness. They just do it and money will go to them regardless because there's nothing better and the idea of competition is dead (rather it's who's willing to make the dick move first so it becomes an industry standard)...
>>108195806yea at best u have micron saying consumers have it all wrong when that isn't any better
>you'll own fuck all and deal with it
>>108195806They don't care if everyone else hates them and don't need to. Nobody will do shit.
How can there be competition if they can kill you
>>108195806You were tricked by youtube ecelebs into believing in a "shortage"There is no consumer ram shortage, only middlemen and storefronts pumping up prices out of pure hype and hoping you'll buy. Just wait a few more months
>>108197063I have no need to buy anything. I'm more paranoid of something shitting the bed and having to accept that instead of doing something about it.
>>108195806All roads lead to monopolies.
they don't need spinjust try the coding agentswe should just stop consumer sales of computer hardware until they achieve agiit's all worth it
