WHAT THE FUCK. WHAT KIND OF INDIAN MADE THIS
>>
the funny thing is they call it 2FA but you're doing both things from the same machine so it's just one factor
>>
OR implies either XOR both can be used.

Hello, saar! It looks like you are having a problem with resetting your password?
>>
>>108196627

the funny thing is that hackers are very unlikely to brute-force your password if you're any good at keyboard mashing. usually, all they need is your first name and the numbers 1, 2, and 3 (plus a ! if you are extra spicy). that's what normies name their passwords because they refuse to write down long, complex passwords or save them to their browser or phone's password manager.

all of this extra security is unnecessary. it is enough to have a lockout mechanism for X number of incorrect passwords.

i love when X is three when it could be 100 or even 1,000 without any real loss of security given reasonably random passwords

i had a lot of issues with some faggot trying to guess my outlook password. but i learned how to set up an alias for my account that i use only to sign in. i no longer have this issue, although it turns out that if you add a phone number to outlook, it automatically adds the phone number as a sign-in option and i'm pretty sure that whatever jeet scam operation is mass-guessing passwords is using phone numbers instead of account names.

i hate this shit so much
i promise my password is kept more securely than your nonsense 2fa login but i'm required to use it because people can't stop themselves setting their password to the name of their girlfriend

You are joking but this is my real name lol

reminds me of walmart.com
>can now use email verification to bypass password
>so that means if my email gets hacked, they can just rape my walmart account with no barriers
>why is email being considered a secure authentication method
>WHAT THE FUCK IS THE POINT OF A PASSWORD THEN
it seems like a lot of major platforms are moving in this direction. if not email, then SMS.
