Is it over for devs? This fat 58 year old boomer Karen at my job has discovered AI app building and has authoritatively positioned herself as a product manager and designer despite not even knowing how to convert a PDF. She vibe coded an entire HR platform in React and pretty much mogged the entire HR department and now they likely can fire everyone and just keep one of them on as a a contractor with minimum hoursAs a sales guy this doesn't impact me as I have social skills and emotional intelligence, but I really feel for the other chud adjacent incelly type dudes who at tucked away in those dimly lit offices with no windows. Their value creation used to be that they were the only ones who knew how to fix a tech issue or build a solution but now we have Barbara handling that side of things, I am wondering what exactly their future is?

>>108200342>Awwww looks like /g/ should've gone to film school where AI generated slop is replacing Hollywoodkek is this what tr00ns think?
>>108200389AI will never replace hollywood. Software engineers don't know how to make a movie so they don't know how to automate making a movie. They only know how to make software, so they'll automate making software.
