the way i use YouTube (and have always used YouTube) is i either get linked to a specific video, or there's an uploader i like and i check if they've uploaded something. people talk about notifications and shit (emails? to their phone?) but my ancient Google Account won't let me log in without providing government ID. fuck that.logged-out, even the front page is just:>Your YouTube History is off >You can turn on watch and search history at any time to get the latest videos tailored to you.not trying to be all hipster here, what's stopping you from using it just like any other website? go back to thinking of it as a video hosting website, not a TV channel.
