How much will it hurt if my school isn't a top 20 school? It's absolutely awful reading through this. I just want a SWE position in my state, which isn't in a city.
You are competing with grads from MIT, Stanford, Princeton, etc, many of which also have a Master's. So if you're not from a credited school, don't expect to land a job without a PhD MINIMUM.
