what are the best note taking softwares that avoid (((The Cloud)))?
there's this one called a "notepad", that is kinda like the one on windows but without the bloat.

I've been using Markor (F-droid) and I particularly like the formatting on both its to-do.text and .org files. I also am a gigantic fan of the sans-serif font option as usually these note taking apps do not offer any of those options forcing anon to look at and be beguiled by a sans font (ugly!).
