>buy a 1440p monitor>website fonts look like shit have to zoom 110 or sometimes 130 %>all images and icons now look blurry on every website
>he fell for the 1440p meme
>>108211656It's pretty nice overall, just that the web seems dogshit for anything past 1080p/mobile.
>>108211651>he boughted a 24 inch
>>108211675It's 27 inch.
>buy 1440p>use zoom cuz too small>now looks 1080p>buy 4k>use zoom cuz too small>now looks 1080p but more hdall memes
>>108211651>>website fonts look like shit have to zoom 110 or sometimes 130 %looks fine for me at 100%, try not being blind>all images and icons now look blurry on every websitethis is true however, most of those were not meant to be giga stretched to 1440p anywayyoutube became unusable if videos aren't encoded to 1440p or 4k, you can literally see trillions of pixels on most videos nowit doesn't mean you fell for a meme, it means your standards went massively up, but normalfag slop content aren't giving a shit about quality
>>108211681Then fix your font rendering. 27-inch 1440p is fine at 100% scaling if you have subpixel rendering for text.
>>108211700Your font looks like mine on 100%, as in, it does not look good man.
>>108211711You're viewing that image at 100% scaling right? Because scaling a screenshot will make it look like shit.
>>108211651>all images and icons now look blurryAny decent website uses vector graphics for icons and high resolution images that stay perfectly sharp up to at least 200%.
>>108211651useless comparison without knowing exactly what monitor you were using before and after
>>108211651>>108211675>>108211681If you wanted 1440p without GUI scaling then you should've bought a monitor with a PPI around 96. These ones are fucking large, but it's what you have to do.
>>108211839>Any decent website uses vector graphics for iconsFuck your flatshit. Vector graphics are no good for anything with sovl.
You bought a bad panel then. I went from my 1440p 144Hz IPS panel to another 1440p 300Hz mini LED and it's night and day. The mini LED has everything, especially text, looking extremely crisp and clear by comparison. Now I exclusively use my IPS screen for plugging in a video on the side while I play or browse or do fuck all on my mini LED screen.
>guise I went from a 27" 1080p panel to a 24" 1440p panel why is everything so smol
>all these posts and no one mentions scaling can be enabled/disabled per application>complete non-issue since you can disable it for the things that mattermpv even has a dedicated setting just for this. I thought this was /g/? How come none of you know how to use a computer?
>buy a 4K monitor>website whitespace look like shit have to unzoom 90 or sometimes 75 %>all images and icons now look blurry on every website
