If linux cares about user experience it would be perfect.
>>108218599It does. You just might not be the intended user, and that's okay :)
freetards care deeply about the user experience, they want it to be as shit as possible
Make a desktop icon in linux
>>108218965>linuxin gnome*
>>108218965you don't need that
>>108218599There are distros that are user friendly. You just choose not to use them.
>>108218965This isn't the problem, the true puzzle is to pin a random executable to the start menu / app launcher.
>>108218633>>108218650Both correct and it's based, linux is perfect as is, there's nothing to be gained from increasing the user base (aka driving the average user IQ down)get the fuck out, nobody wants you, nobody is forcing you, stick to windows or mac
Use case for caring about the user?
>>108218599it does, that's why "don't break userspace" is the first rule of kernel development
In the year 2026, no tech company cares about the user experience. Many such cases in oligopolies.
>>108218599linux is a kernel
>>108222537Yeah. Unfortunately GCC and all the rest of the basis of userspace doesn't share this sentiment so de facto binary compatibility still breaks every few months.
>>108218599You need to learn to make it work for yourself, if you can not do that then you're the one that is imperfect, GNU/Linux works for billions of people worldwide and here you are jackassing on 4chan like a snotty teenager
Linux doesn't let me control my RAMs retarded rainbow RGB, shit sucks man. It's nearly perfect aside from that and one program that doesn't work right on Linux.
>>108223563Ever try to find an answer to your problem here: https://linux questions.org/Might be worth looking into
>>108223594Goddamn spellchek broke my link with a spacehttps://linuxquestions.org/
>>108218965>>108221783found the gnomies
>>108221812>linux is perfect as ismountains of unsupported software and hardware to this day, updates breaking backwards compatibility constantly, 10 year old packages are basically unusable on an up to date system, “Krashes”, “use case?”, systemDick, 30 different ways to manage packages with conflicts etc etc >B-BUT YOU DONT NEED THAT/WERKS ON MY MACHINEcope harder why dont you go back to protest the latest evil rightoid who didnt support xir trans furry ukraine while worshipping at the toejam of a commie pedo who thinks you should be arrested for not being maxvaxxed like the rest of your kin and fuck off? linturds are literal tech vegans, you don’t need to ask if they are one, they will always tell you.
>>108223636is there a better alternative
>>108223598Ha I was about to say. I've looked into it pretty throughly and there is a way to alter it in linux but it involves disabling something that helps monitors the RAMs temperature. Until the kernel has proper support for services like openrgb I think I'm best either physically moving my tower so the effect is less distracting or dual booting into windows everyday to turn it off.
>>108223643uh oh you broke the linux creedhttps://www.gnu.org/philosophy/words-to-avoid.en.html#Alternativethat’s a nono word, bad boy!
>>108218599it does what other kernel does it better
>>108218599Linux is a kernel, duuh? it's primary purpose is to operate your hardware. duuuuh??? desktop experience is the responsibility of someone else. duuuuuuuuh?????
>>108218599here's your linux + decent user experience
>>108218599It DOES care about the user experience. It cares about the experience of non-retards who have self-awareness, who are sentient, who have IQs higher than 70.You see.... you're a fucking a moron. You're an NPC sheep brain who couldn't tell the difference between ROM and RAM and who needs ChatGPT to explain how to wipe your ass.TLDR?You're literally too stupid for Linux. Stick to Windows where you belong.
>>108224314That's XNU you retard
Thats because the user expirience is what costs money. People like to poop a script that works on their computers and then give it away they dont want to make sure it works for everyone cause thats tedious.
>>108218599>>108218650>>108221865>>108224619Linux is a system made by programmers for programmers, it cares about the user experience of programmers, if you are not a programmer or a sysadmin you will have a better experience with windows, android or ios where you can be kept safe from your own actions like the retarded toddler you are.And be thankful we allow you to use computers at all.
