Everything I own is quartz or solar quartz, I sold my automatics because I didn't find them romantic or interesting, I was just annoyed at always having to set them, the weight/thickness, and the looming servicing costs.

>>108228669The update takes a long time and is very sensitive to signal changes, I've never had a manual update work while it was on my arm but get radio pretty frequently over night.I'm pretty far from WWVB and in an area with lots of interference.It selects the radio to recieve based on timezone btw, if you use utc I don't think it'll get US signal.Worst case scenario you can use a radio time emulator (look it up) but it also takes a long time, I would only do that if atomic time was down at first setup.

Biggest complaints would be that the lume is basically dead because it's 40 years old (but a quick torch blast in the middle of the night works without blinding me), and that it uses a stupid crystal design so I can't swap it out for sapphire.
