I'm so unbelievably tired of seeing vibecoded dogshit everywhere.
>>
>>108230442
too bad, it's reality now. join in or get left behind
>>
>>108230451
I don't want to use broken software. I don't want to use software that works 60% of the time. Hell, I don't even want to use software that works 90% of the time with some minor/weird bugs. Fuck that. I just want to go back.

>I'm so unbelievably tired of seeing vibecoded dogshit everywhere.
I don't see it anywhere. Must be a (You) problem. You're trying to distance yourself from AI trannies and normalgroids but in the end you have the same thought process that leads to the same interests.
>>
>>108230456
i have several agents running right now to pollute github repos with garbage PR's, it's great
>>
>>108230442
its only temporary. vibe coders wont even exist in 2027. who said AI doesnt have good points?
>>
Imagine what Steve Jobs would say about AI right now.
>>
>>108230442
good
>>
>>108230451
>left behind
what does this even mean, "left behind" where? where are these "people" that i am apparently with going, and where is it that i won't end up at, that i apparently want to go to?
>>
>>108230475
Why would you do this? for the lulz?
>>
>>108231184
>"You're prompting it wrong."

Incredibly antisemitic post.

funny you should mention that...

I like it, just steal good ideas or code, then give bossman product and you can coast through workdays since you have secured your existence.

Steve was cool

that's just actual dogshit from vibecoding dogs

Why does Steve look so UNFATHOMABLY based in this photo?
>>
>>108231587
Ya but that's at least wholesome.
>>
>>108230442
you'll just have to get used to outages and data leaks
getting upset about it is going to be like demanding performant websites that don't over rely on javascript

That’s funny because I see people endlessly talking about how AI helped them make this and that and how it has 100000x their productivity, yet I have yet to see a vibe coded project that is not a trivial toy project or a “proof-of-concept” or just a clone of something that already exists and is better. All this lip service to vibe coding and I have seen none of the fruits it has allegedly borne.

Same. Now I understand what artist have been feeling all this time.
Sorry for making fun of all of you.
>>
>>108233361
procrastinating xitterfaggots crying about losing illusionary customers aren't artists

It's nonsense. There will never be any "left behind" because llms are extremely easy to use. If they ever get so good that you want to use them, you can still install them in a few years and start using them.
>>
>>108233341
I just use it for my job, I can't just release my company's code. LLMs aren't at the level where you just tell it in one sentence to create the schematics for the PlayStation 6 and it will do it, whoever thinks that is delusional. But they can write individual classes that you can combine to something new. I have no idea what new things to make, though.
>>
>>108230442
so stop vibecoding dogshit
>>
>>108233341
I used grok to convert an old ti-basic program into a Ruby terminal app and it got it 99% there first try, I just had to clean up some of the text formatting so it made more sense for an actual terminal and not a tiny calculator.
Saved a bunch of time because the ti-basic source was basically an unreadable mess of goto and meaningless labels.
>>
>>108234348
AI is pretty good at that stuff, refactoring too.
>>
>>108234348
what kind of program is it? anything neat?
>>
>>108235007
Just a bit of nostalgic amusement

>>108230442
Most software was shit before. AI has changed nothing.
>>
>>108235033
what game is this? did you make it? seems funny
>>
>>108230456
Dude all the good software that existed before is still there. I don't think FFMPEG / curl and similar projects will suddenly accept slop code
The only piece of code on my machine that is vibecoded (and feels like it, because it breaks everyday) is opencode.
On the open web sometimes you stumble on shit web services that are clearly vibecoded, just don't use them and you will be fine
>>
What I hate is when someone posts on Reddit or Facebook or some forum about an app "they" built and talk about how "they" did this and that when in reality they didn't do shit but prompt. I'm not mad at the prompting, just be honest about it.

Actually it's dogcoded vibeshit now

Nah it's Pimp Quest for the Ti-83, used to play it in school. I just got Grok to port it to run in the terminal instead.

80s very cool and kino. Tech catered to intelligent whites and the Japanese in business spheres and academia, and was inspired by cyberpunk novels and movies of the time. It was truly peak. Nowadays tech caters to soulless Indians and retarded normgroids.
>>
>>108236599
were*

>>108236480
You are just mad you have not had the idea to build what they've built. Faggot.

If I claim that something belongs to me before anyone else, then it does. Simple as. I am a serious man.
>>
>>108230463
You must be and end user or tech bro, then
My coworkers have been using AI for their work and although the codebase was shit before, it's adding more shit. Shit that breaks changes, shit that deletes my stuff, unused code, non-maintainable code, non-scalable code, badly formatted code, etc. It's adding so much debt that I can't make changes for simple issues without needing to change 20 other things
>>
>>108236659
>You are just mad you have not had the idea to build what they've built.

Wow I'm sure you're not Indian with that way of speaking.
>>
>>108233341
AI will never create anything new or better because fundamentally all it can do is rearrange existing patterns it was trained on.
>>
>>108236721
You can build new things by just using existing functions, so that's not really an argument.

So long as your only need amounts to rearranging Lego pieces then yeah.
It's probably ok for like 95% of what needs to get done.
>>
>>108236731
YOU might be able to. But show me one example where "AI" has done it.
>>
There was jeet slop before AI. There's just more of it now. From my observations everyone I know that sucks at coding is still producing trash and everyone I know that's good is still making good stuff. But imo coding has always been more about IQ than skill and AI just amplifies this.
>>
>>108236798
This. We went from jeets producing poorly understood diarrhea to jeets producing diarrhea with no understanding at all.
>>
>>108230442
I have yet to see any vibecoded shit. Then again I have a triple not single digit IQ and don't use shitter.
>>
Fuck that, I'm tired of RAM costing 1500.
