It is a travesty that the military went with drones instead of super soldiers. We will never witness technological war kino for individual use.
>>

What makes it 'nano'? It just looks like a diving suit with thirty pounds of foam on top.
>>
>>108234789
fuck you and your power fantasy
if all goes well we will have drone vs drone wars without spilled blood

Nanosuit 1.0 and 2.0 . This version i assume for military and Cell redesigns.

I want goylems to die tho

I always thought the nanosuits from Crysis looked retarded. I get it, they're supposed to look like muscles on the outside of the body, but that's still a retarded design for armor because it's too far removed from reality.
>>
>>108235188
>it's too far removed from reality
you're not wrong because it's revealed in the sequels that it's literal alien technology
>>
>>108235198
And that only makes it even more retarded.
>>
>>108234860
Woule you rather die from some shitty drone piloted by dimitriy or jean-christophe from a french governmental pmc front or die in a suit made form reversed extraterrestrial gijutsu that has included defibrillators and allows you to have some chance at fighting the good fight and winning the war despite having been shot enough times to kill you dozens of times over

>it's too far removed from reality.
So Aliens are fine . But suit looks too far removed from reality?

What reality? They're not regular armors, they allow the user to resist bullets, have enhanced strength and speed and even turn invisible. Comparing it to platemail or kevlar doesn't seem adequate when the lore is that the particles in the armor adapt in various ways to their environment, especially on contact.

is he fucking invincible?
>>
>>108235371
No and neither was Sundowner in fact
>>
>>108235341
>They're not regular armors, they allow the user to resist bullets
That's what armor does.

>enhanced strength and speed
Which should be a single function, because strength is speed unless it somehow alters mass.

>and even turn invisible
>It's power-armor that also has an invisibility function, which isn't exactly unique.

>the lore is that the particles in the armor adapt in various ways to their environment
Even dumber than that, the armor needs to be manually switched to different modes, somehow. They improve that in the sequels, but it's still retarded.

If it's a suit made by and for humans, it doesn't look like something humans would make. If it's alien tech, then it's been adapted to a human form somehow, in a way that must have been done by aliens, because humans wouldn't design that.
>>
>>108235534
Maybe I phrased it awkwardly, but I remember something in one of the intro videos about how the armor resonates in order to better stop projectiles.

> If it's alien tech, then it's been adapted to a human form somehow, in a way that must have been done by aliens, because humans wouldn't design that.
It's possible that it functions like a symbiote. I don't think the lore ever explains why it's meant to look like a flayed man, but I haven't played any of the Crysis games in decades. I don't see why it should be realistic when the designers can just wave it away with a "that's just how it works, it's alien tech deal with it". They probably saw someone covered in cables and went "brilliant, that's what we're going with!"
>>
>>108234691
its wild that crysis 1 took place in 2020.
>>
yeah ofc, mine im wearing rn
>>
mine helps u connect better with women

>>108235656
And I can just wave it away with "It looks gay and retarded, and I don't like it, so deal with it."

Trannosuits that turn you into a women
>>
>>108234860
You fag. One side of drones will eventually overpower the other and then the civilians will be sitting ducks.
At least with nanosuits n crap even a normie can defend themselves to some degree. A much more libertarian(better) solution to warfare
>>
>tfw no Crysis 4
>tfw we’ll never fight CELL actual nanosuit equipped army with exotic alien weaponry
>tfw no crazy multiplayer with new gorgeous faction specific modeled nanosuits for each side like in Crysis 2
>tfw no battlefield killer
>>
>>108234691
well the skin is fused to the nanosuit so that could be a problem
>>
>>108234691
>how, what, why?
>nano magic, don't worry about it
