You can get world class wireless earbuds for $30. $150 will get you audiophile tier bookshelf speakers.
>>
>>108261441
Idk if better, but checkout moondrop ones. I bought a cheap pair of space travels they are great for the price. But they don't even beat chu 2.

not available when you don't use them with Apple devices, though
>>
>>108261890
I have them and I honestly don't like them at all, they always keep falling off my ears, I've got the airpods 4 and pro 2, and they fall a lot less off my ears, but on android they're a hit or miss in terms of audio quality.

>hit or miss in terms of audio quality
they're the best sounding tws on the market wdym
>>
>>108261930
if you bother enough it is available on android too
but if you really do bother enough
and adaptive EQ still works regardless, it will adapt to your canal resonance which is crucial
>>

In my oneplus nord 4 they sound alright on every application except youtube, where it somehow enables some kind of audio preset or something and it drops down the drain.
That's not an issue in other phones I've tried.
It's more or less the same as the usb to 3.5 adapters having extremely low volume except on pixel phones and iphones.

The 5's are excellent. Daily driver for the last 3 years. I'd advise getting aftermarket silicone tips the foam ones blow. I got the 6's and they're not much improved besides more mics, a little better sound. The noise canceling is the same.
>>
>>108261441
I've had two sets of these and I'm not impressed. Lots of weird bugs and tge left one just died on me two months out of warranty. The foam ear tips are also disgusting.
>>
>>108262199
Actually I forgot that the pair I'm using is the original pair as the second set I got was thr one that went through the washing machine. So they lasted more like 2 years. I'm still not impressed.
>>
>>108261441
xm5 is probably the best for noise cancelling. having two simultaneous comnections is kind of nice, not sure how common LDAP support is among cheapos

Any bud is fine on the phone, but what is the best way to connect buds to a laptop to have best quality on calls?
Whenever I use headset mode on windows quality goes to shit

This. I have unusually large ear canals. I buy the namebrand "Comply" foam tips and they are the best I've had. I would prefer ear hooks though but can't do much about that.

I have the XM4s and I did get a known issue where the battery killed itself a while back but then they fixed them for free so I think that's pretty chill.
>>
>>108262952
LE audio is supposed to solve that.
Apple also has some proprietary solution.
>>
>>108261461
That's super deceptive. ANC isn't hearing protection, and the Airpod Pros' design makes getting a good seal hard so they're particularly bad. If you look at Apple's material on it they mention environments like gyms and sports events which aren't really ones where you need earpro either. I'm honestly surprised their lawyers would let them market them that way, they're gonna get sued to hell when somebody blows their eardrums out trying to use them as protection in an industrial environment or for shooting.
>>
Audio quality is good, ANC is great. The major downside to these is that they are really quite fragile, and if you break any of the three components you have to get a whole new set. Be careful with them and it should be fine.
>>
>>108263345
>ANC
you completely missed the point, the adaptive EQ is what is important, it solves canal resonance problem which is important for self inflicted hearing damage from prolonged listening

You mean these ones, anon? I got these buds recently and I'm looking for the best tips I can get.

Try using this, it's paid but cheap enough, and it lets you try it first to make sure it works

Yep. I'm not one to recommend a brand of something so stupid as foam tips but honestly these are the only ones I've used that are worth a damn
