Do you believe all of this shit we talk about will matter or even exist in the next 50 years?

You'll likely have dementia or be in a retirement home unable to even process the outside world. not even worth worrying about. Here's hoping someone creates the pod for old fucks to sleep in and live out their wildest virtual realities.

>shit we talk about will matter
Does the shit you talk about matter now?
Your picrel isn't good evidence...

>even exist in the next 50 years?
Oh. It'll exist. The question should be will you.

>ill be 90 and i plan on being aware of everything
Pity that reality don't give a shit about your plans, really, innit?
Tho in all seriousness, that's about the time when you really don't wanna know what the fuck is going on. To go by the three score and ten measure then every system is well passed failure point, and it'll show. The number o people that age I've seen in 'good condition' I can count on one hand with no danger of running outta fingers. I hope to have been shuffled off the stage well before then...

All your digital activity will be immortalized for centuries
>>
>>108268177
Probably not but it isn't something that concerns me.
What matters is what you devote your time and attention towards. Who cares if its temporary or permanent? It all depends on your relationship with these things.
Some people go all in, some people say don't give into attachments, etc. I believe balance is key.
Just enjoy it while it lasts. Technology will always be awesome.

>bud not everything is hopeless
For a given value of hopeless.

>i think things will be very interesting.
Some cultures believe one of the more powerful curses you can utter to be: May you live in interesting times

>>108268373
>Technology will always be awesome.
But the ways selected to (ab)use it maybe not as much...
>>
>>108268235
look at the condition of your 90 year old male relatives, if you have any.
thats your future

my grandparents mother side lived till they were 90s and my fathers side all died for smoking and being retards. so i think ill survive.
>>
>>108268177
Eh, some of it definetly will, it's not like the world isn't being changed in ways never seen before in history once per decade at this point.
>>
>>108268509
>mother side lived till they were 90s
Unless you femail, prolly safe to ignore all that.

>all died for smoking and being retards
Common. But there's plenty that never smoke in them lives n still taken out by lung cancers. If there's truly no previous to be basing assessments on you're the guinea pig. There's only one "old" I encountered in my lifetime that by the age of 89 was daily(was winter when I see this) gettin' up, walkin ½ mile to the beach, swimmin' mile out to a lil sandbank, walkin' across it, swimmin' back... Feel strongly it was the daily maintainence that enabled. They say 'use it or lose it' and they're not wrong...
>>
>>108268560
I mentioned them because they are biological family. The thing that took out my grandpa was cancer and that was in his 90s. I'm sure most of the cancer my grandparents faced were most likely from work related and retarded habits.
>>
>>108268508
proof?

>>108268177
it doesn't matter now, we're just killing time until we die
