why is there no technology to automatically clean a shower? I mean, there's already water right there, should be one of easier things to automate cleaning.
>>
>>108314190
They've had this technology for a while. It's called Mexicans.
>>
You’re a retard if you think you need to clean the shower
>>
>>108314190
We are so far behind when it comes to buildings and construction. Sure they can build skyscrapers but you still have to hire some dodgy af people (aka builders) to come and do decorating (another backward profession that has changed little in last 100 years) inside instead of having nano robots to literally do that all that.
>>
>>108314246
>lil bro doesnt clean his shower

>>108314246
>You’re a retard if you think you need to clean the shower
Only retard here is you. I worked as a cleaner for a while and I guess it's people like you who end up with shit like picrel.
Takes fucking forever to get clean once people move out..
>>
>>108314323
none of those examples are from people not cleaning the shower, they're from improperly built showers and age.
>>
if you're too soi to scrub by hand you can always get a power scrubber or scrubber attachment for a power drill.
>>
>>108314333
Listen here you little retard, cleaning prevents that from happening. Even a brand new, mega-nice shower WILL be filthy if you don't clean it.
Who the fuck raised you, some crackwhore in a trailer home?
>>
If you have enough money for a self cleaning shower then you have enough money to pay Consuela.
Rich people don't use their dishwashers because those are too inefficient
>>
>>108314349
the bottom one is lack of ventilation allowing mold to grow which isn't from lack of cleaning, and cleaning will not address the cause.
the top right is a combination of the previous issue and hard water, which again isn't fixed by cleaning. just temporarily cleaned.
top left is too much iron in their water, again not something cleaning will fix. they need a whole home water filter and possibly pipes replaced.
only an absolute braincell lacking moron wastes their life, time, energy, and money to play whack a mole with temporary fixes instead of addressing the root causes using modern technology and science.

>>

no, get a water softener and a water filter and upgrade from rusty corroded pipes to something modern like PEX

Congratulations anon, you might win the "most retarded poster of the year" so far.

the water and soap from the shower handle all of those. NEXT. this is a technology board not a third world manual labor board.
>>
>>108314413
God, you are disgusting...
>>
My mom cleans it for me :)
>>
>>108314373
wtf is that brown stuff in the bath?
>>
>>108314421
Dirt, grime, dead skin, hard water residue etc. It's the same thing you get in a toilet if you don't clean it.
Regular cleaning prevents that from happening.
>>
>>108314421
extremely hard water from manganese, iron, and other minerals in the water or pipes that transport the water.
installing a water softener prevent that from happening while cleaning it is a never-ending waste of time.
>>
>>108314433
>installing a water softener
Not him but how do I do that when I live in an apartment and don't have access to pipes? Those things that attach to the tap don't work.
I have to clean my bathroom once a week or all the tile and the tub starts turning brown/orange.
>>
>>108314442
somewhere inside the apartment is a water shutoff valve for the water supply to your unit, likely the same location as the water heater. you'd just have a plumber install one in that location.
>>
>>108314190
>>
>>108314449
>same location as the water heater
Uh..My country has district heating. The shut off valve is a knob in the hallway. On a thick concrete wall.
>>
>>108314449
if it's in a closet you might not be able to do a full water softener and might have to go with a three stage filter.
>>
>>108314190
The problem is more about showers using materials that shouldn't be near water or moisture
>>
>>108314465
wow thats interesting
>70-120
that is quite the range
>>
>>108314481
No you just need to scrub it top to bottom before and after every use with chemical cleaners and high quality abrasives!
>>
>>108314190
Come on anon don't be lazy. A good citrus cleaner like Viss and a sponge is all you need. Takes 10-15 minutes a week to clean a normal sized bathroom.
If you need to do a real deep clean (for example if you have limescale buildup etc) then I recommend vinegar. No joke it's really damn effective against that.
And remember: preventative cleaning on a regular basis is less effort than deep clean so don't let it fester.

No, that's just what happens over time. You're retarded if you think warm water and steam being used continually in an enclosed space won't cause mold and bacteria to grow over time.
>>
>>108314776
you're wrong, proper ventilation would prevent that. hell you even admitted it with "enclosed space".

if you have to consciously decide whether to move air in a space it's poorly designed, go back to your mud hut.

>>
>>108314843
5 minutes a day * 365 days = 30.4 hours spent cleaning per year plus the time and money spent on supplies. you can't think of anything better to do with 30.4 hours of free time per year? if you live until 80 and started cleaning the shower at 10 that's 88.67 days or 2128 hours of your single life dedicated to cleaning the shower for no good reason.

Why are you guys randomly talking about windows? I said ventilation. HVAC outlet for dehumidified air and positive air flow and Ventilator Fans for removal of humid air and negative air flow. What technological level are you folks playing life on?
>>
>>108314893
>just fill your bathroom with multiple fans and HVAC systems
Most people have an extraction fan at most in their bathroom, none of that other shit you're going on about.
>>
>>108314880
>what is limescale
water filter and softener. address the cause not the symptom
>what is soapscum
only an issue with hard water which was addressed above
>what is mold
ventilation.
seriously why are you guys in a technology board if you're just going to talk about manual labor and not technological solutions to problems? are you just trolls from reddit or something?

you can still get by with just a basic exhaust fan though, so I still don't see an issue.
this one will dry any surface water in a 12x12 room with 20 minutes of run time.

I clean my shower like once a year and it's fine. All you have to do is rinse the whole thing down with max hot water after each shower, and leave the door/curtain partially open so it fully dries out.

Granted, I have a fiberglass insert so there is no grout to deal with.
>>
>>108315025
I have to wonder, does it smear shit all over when the toilets are actually dirty?
>>
>>108315093
It has rows of additional cleaning heads and if you look carefully, it switches them out as it goes along.
>>
>>108315102
Neat, so you have to provide a couple of brushes for each section of each piece that should be cleaned? Smart, they probably sell these heads for a premium.
>>
>>108315114
The heads are reusable, same as any toilet brush.
>>
>>108314246
i'm so glad i don't have to live with you filthy disgusting degenerate retards

>>108315266

>>
>>108315006
I asked AI and it said

The Ultimate Set-It-and-Forget-It Routine:

>1. Switch to liquid body wash.
>2. Put Rain-X on your glass doors once every 3 months.
>3. Install a humidity-sensing fan switch.
>4. Spray the walls with Wet & Forget once a week when you step out of the shower.
>Result: You will rarely, if ever, have to scrub your shower again.
>>
>>108315114
I don't see why a human cleaner wouldn't use an equal number of brushes, assuming they clean properly.
>>
>>108316058
even AI is smarter than the anons that say to just clean it daily for the rest of your life
