batman gotham knight was soo good. I had a long-standing love with the animatrix when gotham knight released so when a batman collection dropped in the same anthology style, it really hit for me.
if you like these kinds of "what if" mini-stories, star wars visions had some great stuff. some of the more fun stories that disney has done in the star wars universe

I was so disenfranchised by all the nu-wars slop that I went in expecting more slop. a couple of the stories were real bad but others really captured star wars in a way nu-wars failed to grasp. the stories had a way of doing their own thing while also being reverent of the star wars universe, same way animatrix told stories
