uBlock Origin will never be defeated, ever. Even baked in ADs can be skipped, no argument you make will contradict what uBO does and will continue doing.
Been on FF + AdBlock since 2008, haven't seen a single AD, then just updated to uBO in like 2015, still haven't seen a single AD to this day, zero breakage too.
Never even witnessed the buffering issues with "Experiencing Interruptions" pop-up. It simply just works, all I do is purge filters cache once every 3/4 months.

Tranny browser.
>>
Curious what the numbers are around adblocker adoption versus not. Obviously blockers are the minority. Futile efforts like severing ublock because it's actually too good is probably a net negative. What if YouTube figured out a way to not rape the viewing experience with ads everywhere?
Still, kinda funny seeing comments in long music streams where they complain about ads popping up right in the middle. Definitely a "get what you fucking deserve" moment.
>>

What browser? Are you blocked from installing programs? Is the browser itself managed so no extensions can be added? If so, I'd argue the honest case that disallowing uBlock and relying solely on DNS filtering is a security hole. If browsers are managed by group policy, they can actually add uBlock through that so everyone is protected.
How about your phone? There's ReVanced that blocks ads on YouTube and Music.

hope that if ublock ever does get defeated we get some way to just look at a mute black screen until the ads are fake-played to us.
if advertisers become aware that +10% of the views they are paying for is not actually seen or heard it might pressure YT to reverse so they can be skipped again. because it's better to have reliable ad numbers than "maybe 90-80% of what you pay for will be seen".
