The government is incredibly incompetent and stupid in everything it attempts to manage.

I’m assuming glowies are the same

By taking steps to hide yourself the algorithm will better be able to find you, thought criminal

Privacy is not secrecy, you stupid glowie.

If the government has all of my data why do they keep trying to collect it?

My favourite is when people recommend linux for "privacy" and then proceed to log into a dozen online-services and do everything through their web browser.

The irony is that the internet is full of crime. If the government knows already who they are, why they are still free?
I remember watching some documentary about pedo hunting and they had a map of the US with all the request for cp with red pins and the whole country was red, it was hilarious.

>>108342092
It doesn't though. it only has my most basic info.

After experiencing surveillance zersettzung id argue it’s pretty important. Glowies, ngos foreign nationals and rich people are against you and want to suck out your joy from life because misery loves company.
>>
>>108342092

>>
>>108342092
ICE is targeting white people too. You might as well make effort to hide your tracks.

Problem is, they go on to install a perverted version of GNU/Linux with non-free software added by the distributors, alongside privacy invasive components.
Defeats the purpose.

Privacy is important but agency is the more important issue. Software devs have been at war with users for 2 decades or more, now. And it's working. Just look at all the zoomies who shamelessly refer to their computer as a 'device'.
>>
>>108345525
This
It's the actual purpose of free software: To give the user the agency to use the software they want on a computer. Open-Source is a psyop to sell closed ecosystems disguised as freedom

That's EMMANUAL BASSI aka EBASSI the king of the GNOMEs.
In his presence, you will be judged on the use-case of your PC and your desktop. If left wanting, he damns you to 1000 years of using the CLI.

The governments don;t give a fuck about your data in most cases. They don;t want to have to store more paper work or build more data centers with your useless data. Most people live pretty boring lives as it is. Most governmental bodies can barely keep up with the ever changing technologies around them, Everybody fears the data that they have collected on you. But in most cases they don;t have the man power or the sensibilities to even know what to do with that data, as it is. So they just send it off to data centers that sell it off to corporations that can use it to target better advertisements towards you, and to feed it off as AI training data.

depends on the government
Totalitarian and even borderline governments absolutely care because more arrests for their useless moral panic laws means they are working in their eyes. So if they catch you watching porn, and arrest you for watching porn, in their mind the totalitarian regime is worth it. This can be extended to anything from leaking bad things about the government to protesting.

That's why people are so frustrated and concerned about America and the UK's bent toward totalitarianism, they're already starting to target protestors and the tech right now would ensure absolute control if they really wanted it

You have to understand, if parliament didn't censor, it would lead to massive racism and a destruction of our multicultural society. To ensure stability with our beloved multicultural society that enriches our lives, we have to censor those who are a destructive force against it.
Rape gang inquires leads to a distrust of our multicultural society.

So, shut up about it.
>>
>>108342092
Yeah if I cared when it mattered I'd be a lot more concerned about my privacy than I am. It's too late for me, they already know everything about me. Don't be like me anons.
