Posting this here because /mu/ is just a gooner board. Do you guys have any tools for knowing if music is AI or not? I listen to a lot of niche music and now I'm starting to second-guess what I'm listening to. Some YouTube playlists are straight up AI, but I get recommended a lot of weird math rock japanese music and I have no idea if it's AI. Any help?

For example, I am listening to this right now but have no idea if it's real music. https://youtu.be/ta87eZcia_k?si=x0D4FY0TkvgkYYY7

The cover looks AI though

Isn't music about enjoying what you listen to, not the color of the skin of the people who shared it. Also, the music copyright should make it apparent.

who gives a shit? if you like it then you like it. Stop being a retard and overthinking stuff that doesn't matter.

Music is art, and no, that's only a nihilistic interpretation of what art is.

I only listen to 100 year old classical music. Never had this issue

>and no
How else do you enjoy music but by listening to it? What else is important about music other than enjoying what you are listening to? I don't care whether it is a McDonald's commercial or some hippy in a subway tunnel, if it sounds good, I enjoy it. Where are you from that art needs to be some philosophical journey to pretentiousness? >>>/mu/ ? Go back, then, faggot.

For the one you linked it doesn't seem to be AI.

I don't think many AI people put stuff on Bandcamp, and I'm not sure if any AI tools can create stuff in FLAC (are they trained on it?)
>The cover looks AI though
Doesn't look like it to me. They also have the artist credited on the Bandcamp page.

doesnt bandcamp let you upload audio/wave and converts depending on user choice

I don't know how Bandcamp uploads work but I was assuming AI music tools would probably be trained on MP3 (or some other lossy format). Looking at the Bandcamp files (they're free), they're most likely not converted from a lossy format.

Clinging onto the past. Treasuring all the good memories. Appreciating the wonderful things people of the past created for themselves and us. Preserving things that are worth preserving before they get corrupted and twisted by AI slop. I think these are things worth living for still. Do not let the generation of tomorrow look back and see nothing, but soulless, uninspired, un-creative AI slop. It's our mission to preserve organic made art. We are the archivist generation. Perhaps the last shot humanity has at retaining its unique identity and soul.

Because there is a deeper meaning to life than "this gives me pleasure" and "this doesn't give me pleasure". If there wasn't, then the ideal would be everyone living in a pod 24/7 getting amphetamines injected, like the Matrix but everyone hallucinates an orgasm repeated every 30 seconds. Is that the world you want to live in?

I believe in human resilience. There will always be people, no matter how bad things get. Even in a Mad Maxean, bombed out, glassed, irradiated, post-apocalyptic world there will be lost tribes of survivors holding onto their humanity and human legacy for dear life, passing down stories from generation to generation about their equivalent of Captain Walker.
