Al of my colleagues use ipads for medschool and they look really cool and fancy and they get to draw on them and stuff and bring them anywhere and I really want one but I don't like apple. Is there such a device that can run linux? Please help me. I just want a LINUX tablet that can have a keyboard attached to it, be used for writing on, for looking at PDFs, for watching movies and lectures, reading books, anki, obsidian, that type of thing.

Yep. I did a quick look and it seems that linux might be an issue with the qualcom chip. I'd do some looking into it for sure before buying.

Get the framework 12
It's a convertible, so a laptop and a tablet in one and it's extremely modular and upgradable

Are there any first class linux tablets that come with linux pre-installed that way we know they mean business? Did linux finally figure out how to fix all the microsoft surface issues? Any non-arm linux/windows tablets that can run linux?
