idk what any of those fancy words mean but its neat to me that "if i were rich..." implies that history would be rewriten to accommodate, a tacit admission that a lot of things would also be different, and "if i was rich..." is very much centered in the moment. to me, it shows a shift in the general understanding of causal relationships but im schizophrenic so..
