Dad had an iPhone 15 that isn't paid off. Dead Internet Theory is in full effect, and I'm unable to find any resources on cracking into this thing to break it from AT&T without paying off Dad's old bill.
It goes without saying that YouTube is a wasteland and Reddit (like r/jailbreak) is a dick-measuring contest of how to run Linux RainbowDash on a Blackberry, but no real resources for something of this nature.

Any leads would be much appreciated. Just trying to break in and sell this mf on Facebook marketplace to a Mexican family.
What are my options with a modern iOS phone?

Yes, quite literally. That is an accurate assessment of my goals here.
>>
Where can I at least find discussion how such a thing could be done? Some other forum even.
I'm only here because search results are so heavily curated and you'll never find that without already knowing about it these days.

Am I going to have to dive into the Onion Web just for this?

there's nothing worthy of finding on tor. all sites are either scams or plebbitors in disguise you find more cheese pizza on the clearweb and russian telegram/simplex groups better quality too.

whatever sob story you have doesn't matter, your goal is to screw the carrier and steal the phone, give it back jamal.

Just sell it for scrap. If you are able to break into the latest in Apple products then Mossad and every agency in the world would pay you millions or just kidnap you. At the of the day you still have a legal contract to pay off ATT for the phone so give it back jamal.

Maybe your father should pay for it

Being a deadbeat and financial fraud is not worth the credit hit to your credit history. But clearly you don't care, so you deserve what you get.

get him a motorola or something so you can at least flash it when he defaults on his phone payments again. you can't afford more iToys if you cant even pay a ONE thousand dollar loan.

it’s not like the data is wiped anyway. If you’re a nigger who doesn’t pay the device isn’t locked with icloud, only the cellular functionality gets rekt. that doesn’t stop you from accessing the pictures n shit on the phone.
If you want a fully functional device that hasn’t been paid off… well, have you tried paying it off? The block is at hardware level, essentially blacklisting an ID on the telco side which is embedded on a chip. you cant change it without soldering in a different chip, which realistically isn’t being done by anybody, except possibly in shenzen

If it has a sim card slot you can port his number to a at&t subsidiary cellphone service or get a new number. At&t won't unlock it, but they also won't lock it for a while. I know some friends unfortunately who didn't pay and their iPhones still work just not on the OG carrier. You can even buy at&t prepaid and use the prepaid sim card.
You can also use Rsim which is a device that the sim card sits in and it's a thin chip that goes into the sim card tray while holding the sim card and it unlocks the phone.

Forgot to mention if you decide to use at&t prepaid you have to get a new number since they don't port post paid lines to prepaid.

They disable them via MDM

What's the clauses on the contract for the phone? Some just need the death certificate to fully unlock the phone. Unless you're just larping, you can't hack this one out.
>>

Yes all OP has to do is show proof of death cert and the contract is null and void. But I think OP is larping because they were asking similar iPhone unlock advice in /sqt/ days ago.

>steal phone
>come up with dumb story to try to wipe it
>doesnt realize iphones are completely locked down till they are fully paid off and unlocked through the providers systems

this is why i hate niggers
