One bad day I got into heavy rain in the forest while being far from home thats how the display became like this. I first dried it for months and it did not work, forgetting about it in my cabinet until I cleaned and tried to charge it, it magically turned on.

All ports are still working, its a Transformer T303UA, i7-6500U, 16 GB DDR3 and 500 GB SSD. I put it in for 100 € which seems realitic as other shops sell much worse 4 GB ones fully defective for 60+ and the SSD alone should be worth a lot in the current market.

I have a much better laptop and a homeserver so I have hardly a use for this. But theoretically it could run as a server or permanent download machine, maybe even a HTPC with external monitor.

Should I try to get it open and sell the SSD alone? I fear it would break it completely and I would not throw working hardware away. Its although likely it could have corrosion inside, depending how far the water made it.

I'd salvage and sell whatever I can from it. Next time don't be retarded and also avoid unrepairable electronics if possible.
