Some things are a bit buggy because the dev is refactoring old code to make it less of a pain to maintain it (the UI remains the exact same, however), but posting and solving captchas (spur and email verification bullshit included) work and the latest version even introduced support for 8ch in the latest version.

My home IP is not even banned. I can submit reports through the app and male posts through my PC without issue, so 4chan's IP block must be related to something else.

The faggots from the proxy site claimed that they were abusing the fingerprints of android devices running Clover/Kuroba/Chance, and while these fags lie all the time, there's a chance that this is true and mods added something to partially block phonefags.

If you save the video, can you play it in your OneUI/other ROM native video player? If you're using mpv/vlc/mxplayer it will play it, but I'm more interested if your device's hardware decoder works.

When I tried to use VLC as a library it played every single video extremely well but the APK was like 40MB. I have not been able to trim the VLC library out of useless stuff like streaming and encoders despite trying for like two days, seems no one cares to do this type of stuff at VLC either their guide seems a bit outdated.

We could use mpv instead of exoplayer but that will be another big change I'm guessing.

It happens because all mobile client HTTP/TLS fingerprints are currently being used for spamming 4chan by a well know spamming website. So the developer of 4chan decided to just ban them all, thus banning all the clients from posting with fresh cookies. The only thing you can do right now is to not delete your old cookies or authorize via email. I guess passcode users are not affected.

This VP9 plays fine. HOWEVER it stutters like a mofo. The opening few seconds and when he climbs the ladder. Getting VP9 to play is the main thing. It doesn't really matter if the decoder isn't smooth as silk. But thought you should know. The decoder could perform better.

Apple doesn't allow installation of apps they don't approve of. Best you can do is find a TestFlight link for iChan or Chance and use that. They have to be updated every 60 days or something like that, and are technically abusing the system so you could lose access at any point that Apple gets wise to it.
