Vote for politicians who are not in favor of this. But I know that feels like someone telling you to vote with your wallet. So instead, here's the best advice I can give you; Leave the internet behind. Be ready and willing to relegate the internet to a tool you pick up only when you need to and learn to live a life off of and away from the internet. Take up different hobbies, find different ways to spend your free time, change your browsing behavior to only visit the sites you actually need to, have hardware that meets your barest minimum needs like how some people choose to use a dumbphone to avoid endlessly scrolling through social media and porn. You never owned the internet in the first place, it was just better in the past, and now that it's becoming worse and worse and more of a headache than a joy, be willing to drop it like the shit brick it's become.
