slackware is the only linux that allows relatively easy install of dozens of bioinformation software and its the stablest linux where you can run your bioinformation software in

how does that happen, if slack is somehow "worst linux?"

imagine arch:
>install a clustal
>run a big genome comparison project
>it crashes after 2 hours
>it crashed because the arch was "newest of the new" and had unstable parts, not because software itself crashed

b-b-but my playstation emulator doesnt work in slackware or even if it works, it doesnt react to a USB gamepad

I love Slackware but holy fuck they need to move Slackbuilds to github or gitlab where people can submit updates. Needing to use their upload process is annoying.
