I think game developers are loading thwir graphics pipelines with whatever tech they can and just checking it off of a feature list. It's been that way for awhile and almost no new release runs with all the graphics settings checked because often times the developers themselves have like one computer in their entire office that can even run it.

Just like people who want to future proof their computers when building them, game companies want to future proof their games with tech that can't even run on the "best" graphics cards on the market during release. It makes since that Capcom would want to load the game with as much overhead as possible so that people will use it as a benchmark years from now. The irony is games that are so poorly optimized that they become a benchmark themselves even if they look, run, and play like shit.

They added Mixed/FGR mode to new AM5 BIOS. In synthetics it makes little difference but in real world stuff it makes a huge difference as big as X3D. The stutter problem is completely fixed in multiple games because the ram can refresh rows individually instead of locking the entire bank (no reads or writes) to refresh.
