How can I make my own anonymous imageboard so that I can stop using this one?
Make? Easy. Just deploy one of the existing open source boards. There are loads out there.Stop using this one?Hahahaha. Never gonna happen because your board will be dead and you will be posting on it alone.
>>108372175Making an imageboard is easy. The hard part is users.First, if you're trully anonymous, you'll get glowie users spamming CP to shut you down and keep us contained in this "anonymous" honeypot.Second, you'll have the problem of network effect: why would I go to your empty imageboard when I could come here and talk to people, get fast replies (even slower chans are hated by us here with fried dopamine receptors who can't wait a day for a reply), talk "unfiltered" about kikes or whatever. For the network effect, I think you can mitigate it with some moltbook-shit: while your platform has no users, you can have ai users replying to threads, but idk how to actually implemetn that well and even if that's a feasible answer. For moderating glowie spammers out, I have no clue.
>>108372234>fake AI usersThat's how you end up with /ptg/ and similar generals. It's repulsive. Dont do that.
>>108372175Just make it with Ruby on Rails.
>>108372274>/ptg/What's the /ptg/ drama?
>>108372196>>108372234I'm not so interested on if it will succeed or not. I just want to know the technical aspect of it: like should I use a VPS or self-host, how to make it secure, etc. Things like that.
>>108372298>should I use a VPS or self-hostDepends on your goals. You don't care aabout it succeeding, so you could host on localhost and use alone?>how to make it secureAgainst what? Script kiddies hacking your home server and leaking your nudes? State level surveillance spamming CP to keep anons locked into their honeypot?
>>108372274Yeah, I admit I didn't think it thru, just an idea poped into my mind and I told anon. Idk if some actually thinks it thru they can implement it well. Idk /ptg/ but maybe /sqt/ or the whole /r/ board could be mostly automated?
>>108372343>Depends on your goals. You don't care aabout it succeeding, so you could host on localhost and use alone?True, but it would be nice to see it running in the public Internet. >Against what? Script kiddies hacking your home server and leaking your nudes? State level surveillance spamming CP to keep anons locked into their honeypot? All of the above.
>>108372288Everything I don’t like is bots and\or Indians.
>>108372368I can't help you against state actors, like stated on my first reply, bro. Once I know the answer, I'll be sure to post it here and try to bait some anon into doing it for me so he gets the target on his back instead, in case it's the wrong answer.
>>108372424Kay, keep me posted.
use vichan if you want the 4chan style and its easy to setupuse jschan if you want a really customizable chancareful hosting one because shart fart raiders will spam wojaks(they're benign), but once they find your site the cia jews will spam your site with illegal content in the US
>>108372175post bussy to lure in code monkeys
>>108372175just prompt one, chat gpt made me a functional local one in about 10 seconds with just html/css/jsobviously you would need to use php/mysql if you wanted to bring it onlineand obviously if you want more features you have to play with it
If using Vichan remember to change the default admin password, lest you want to be plundered by Captain Coal.
>>108372175You're gonna spend so much time deleting CP posts from FBI agents that you're not even gonna be able to use it. You're here forever.
>>108372298you're like 10-15 years too late to the party. give it up.
>>108372234>First, if you're trully anonymous, you'll get glowie users spamming CP to shut you down I keep reading this over and over, where did you get that from?
>>108373913Famous pasta/screencap. Lurk moar.
>>108373961No repost it here
>>108374048I don't save every screencap on every computer I use and sync between them, sorry. I'm hoping some anon has it.

I am in touch with someone who is setting up a new imageboard to replace an old one we both liked which has now gone offline (RIP britfa.gs). He rented a small server and put vichan on it, and mentioned it in a couple of places, so now there are three or four of us on there and it hasn't even got a domain name yet. Hopefully it will get more users once it goes fully live, but I'm worrying that that ship might have sailed now, since britfa.gs shut down overnight about four months ago now.Based britfa.gs had firewall rules so that only UK IP addresses could post, and there was almost no CP or spam. It was so much better than here.
>>108373961Where can I find it? Is it on Knowyourmeme?
>>108374128Idk man. I'd check desuarchives if they had image OCR like 4plebs.
>>108372766The FBI doesn't post CP, they'll take over and run CP sites to harvest data but nothing in the law (written or implied or precedent) allows them to distribute or share, it is too much of a legal and ethical minefield and the press would have a field day. "Survivors giving permission" is a myth.
>>108373913wakarimasen archives shut down for that reason
>>108372408Everything I don’t like is bots and\or Indians.
>>108374364Wait, when did the FBI start obeying the law?
>>108374507Didn't you hear? The courts started ruling fairly and openly and entrenched power stopped abusing their position.
