I actually met him in Serbia (my wife is Serbian and we were visiting family) he was with a woman so I'm guessing he married a Serbian woman and lives there now. I'm also orthodox but purely performative as part of marrying my wife. I guess that is how he started getting into the religion but he took it seriously over time for some reason.I only spoke with him for about 10 minutes and it was mostly about his trip to Montenegro and how the Latin used in orthodox prayers differs from the Latin in the catholic church and also the remnants of paganism in the Balkan orthodox traditions (since he is following the serbian orthodox traditions with saint Nicholas as main focus)Cool dude, way less spastic irl than he seems in videos. But the girl he was with didn't look devout at all, a bit on the liberal side (she has to be to date an american) but I'm happy for him that he isn't fully hardcore orthodox with a wife covering her hair at least. I didn't bother him about his YouTube since that's cringe. Probably he's just done with talking about topics not truly interesting to him anymore.
