Researchers seem to be AI-proof given that data collection is not something that AI can do, and even if it somehow does collect data, there's absolutely zero chance that it will be accepted as we've no way to really prove that it wasn't just collected from other AIs.
AI will absolutely speed up things after data collection, so that's quite nice.

One thing that is quite interesting to consider is self-reported data; can an AI eventually give answers that simulate real ones? Is there an application for such generated responses? We already know that self-reported data isn't the most reliable and accurate, and you can literally pay companies to survey people so what if the middleman is cut out? I'm not sure what awaits us but perhaps we'll see a greater focus placed on qualitative research?
