Why are breathalyzers connected to central computer?
gooddriving while drunk is retarded
>whyJews.Every question on OP can usually safely be answered with "jews".
>>108416317Sounds like consumer purchasable breathalyzers?Because Internet of Shit, of course.
>>108416397Do Jewish anons ever read stuff like this and just laugh?>man tortures puppies >world wide famine >recession And first post says Jews did it. It must be comedic after a while
>>108416317Locks out of what? Do Americans unironically have to pass a breathalyzer test when they go to work?
why are DUI offenders even allowed to drive in the first place
>>108416317central computer in tel aviv, iran nuked it, it wasnt hacked goy, now sign up to the army
>>108416317So that law enforcement can monitor convicts' compliance with court orders.>>108416415Personally, I'm like that my very existence causes millions of people around the world to seethe uncontrollably.
>>108416581>Locks out of what? Cars. People convicted of DUIs are sometimes allowed to keep driving on the condition of installing a breathalyzer in their car.
>>108416317Got something to hide, Citizen?
>>108416317Self contained units are equipped with cameras. You must blow in the morning and throughout the day. Someone on the other end is observing so you can't use a friend to cheat. I'm not certain if car breathalyzers have cameras, but they will lock you out of driving your car and you must use a 3rd party to reset it all while paying for the inconvenience. Best thing to do is not get caught.
>>108416317I'm guessing these are for commercial drivers who have to prove they're sober before they can start their shift?
>>108416623>>108416696If there's no camera I'll bet you can cheat using an air compressor or even a bicycle pump.
>>108416749Pretty sure its just for people who already had a DUICommercial license gets revoked for at least a year after one DUI, and usually permanently after a second.
>>108416623What the fuckNow that's some serious humiliation ritual, but still super lenient. Here they literally revoke your driver's license on sight and I don't think you're getting away that easily. There's also no 4th amendment, so they can breathalyze you without a cause.
>>108416772I'm assuming some jobs require a breath test even if you never had a DUI?I think some airlines require it from their pilots. And maybe if you transport hazardous materials like nuclear fuel?
>>108416802That's not something I've ever heard ofYou also probably don't want your nuclear fuel truck to refuse to start because it lost internet connection
>>108416769>>108416696They have camerasYou have to blow and look at the camera on startup and periodically do the same when it beeps at you.Had a friend have to go through that shit when someone ran into him and he blew over the limit. It was unironically the compromise from getting his license revoked since the cops fucked up.
>>108416831>You have to blow and look at the camera on startupl-lewd
>>108416780Fun fact, the US is one of a very small number of countries where you can (theoretically, it's never actually happened) get sentenced to death for a DUI.
>>108416317>Can't be breathalysed Based. Recommend me your favourite driving beer.
>>108416850DUI laws are state by state, and I don't think there are any states that have the death penalty for anything short of vehicular homicide
>>108416861a 9% lager just has to taste like shit
>>108416879North Carolina (and I think also Wyoming?) consider a DUI resulting in death to be an intentional homicide. NC has tried for the death penalty in a couple cases, and has actually handed out life sentences.
>>108416929Exactly, requires you to cause a death while DUIVery different than just DUI
>>108416943Most other countries consider it to lack mens rea.
>>108416881>has to taste like shitIt's not meant to taste good. It's meant to make driving more enjoyable.
>>108416415It's an awkward laugh. They know we know.
>>108416397>Don't look into anything or engage in sociological analysis, just deify some sand eating abrahamists.Jeffery Epstein
>>108416415>>world wide famine >>recessionBoth of these are caused by jews right mow attacking Iran>man tortures puppies there are tons of wild cats in Iran which will be killed now. Also Gaza used to have them as well. So yes anon is correct.
>>108416831>>108416696The one hooked up in my brothers car has no camera.
>>108416780here they take you to jail, make you blow in their machine, then get really mad it didn't say you were over the limit, then charge it anyway and make you hire a lawyer to point out that you haven't committed the crime at which point the judge rules against them and you're left wondering about the integrity of this "justice system"
>>108416861>Recommend me your favourite driving beer. That's a question for >>>/o/ and >>>/ck/ because on /g/ we don't leave the basement.
>>108416861>>108416963Scotsman spotted. The Germans can undercut that by 0.1% and be about 90% cheaper. And still be actual psychotic filth. I'd genuinely recommend anyone not to picrel, unless once for the experience, in suitable laboratory conditions.
>>108416388True, but also fun
>>108416317Never ran into these but wouldn't they just interrupt the stater wire? Just bypass it. Car wiring is pretty simple in old cars and in new cars you can just connect to the canbus and tell the car to start. Wouldn't be surprised if you could just automate it so you plug in an odb2 adapter, it runs a script that starts the car and off you go.
>>108420239well it's probably illegal to bypass and the thing probably reports each start so if your car is moving around and it hasn't been reported...a good question is what happens if the thing gets driven somewhere with no cell network
>>108420239Some of them don't use mobile networks, it stores everything local on the memory card and every once and awhile they are to go to a nearby service place which is basically a drive threw window to have the data stored on the device downloaded there.
>>108416388If you can't drink & drive it just means you're a bad driver and shouldn't be on the road anyways
>>108416388>>108416317jesus christ! cloud computing for breathalizer? unironically just make alcohol illegal again, problem solved...
>>108416388Read the thread before shilling. It is locking people out WHO AREN'T DRUNK.Honestly the shills people are digging up are only degrading in quality. And always the same shitty takes.> I hate freedom and want total surveillenceJust say it loud and clear. Or pay the media to say it for you.
>>108420336>>108420380What if the power is disconnected? You have to change your battery because you're a poor and can't get your alternator fixed so you're swapping between two batteries charging one at home each day. I know someone who did this and I laughed at him until he since he didn't want to fix it himself.
>>108416581in norway as a bus driver you have to use it in order for the bus to start if its positive it locks you in and calls the police
>>108420814It's a self contained handheld device, it just draws power and sends an ok signal to the car's computer to start. when you fail the breath check it will set off the car alarm if you try to start the engine and drive off.
>>108416397If it wasnt them it would be me
>>108416780it's either a machine or a human parole officer
>>108420425this. we even let negros, jam boys, and women drive
