I think I've had my phone for about 10 years now. It really has signs of its age. Plenty of scratches and bumps from all the times I've dropped it. Surprisingly the glass back remained intact all these years, until I dropped it flat on its back at a construction site a few months ago. Felt like I was scarring a long time friend of mine.

The headphone port is so worn out by years of use that no earphones stay connected to it, it just doesn't hold them anymore.

Other than that, the phone is still fine. No performance issues, and 32gb of storage is surprisingly good enough for my limited use. I'll probably only buy a new one when this one dies completely.

This tracker is not very old, only came into existence about two years ago but it's growing quickly. It already has about 79k torrents. As the name suggests, This trackers main focus is encodes. They have plenty of WEB-DLs as well. They have a few of their own internal released groups.

Hi yall - wanted to share my setup to see if I made this more complicated than it needs to be, or if it’s clean. This is less of a tutorial and more of a question on whether this is a smart way to go about this.

Right now, I wanted to have anime/manga synced across devices. My solution is MALSync and Aniyomi.

On Aniyomi, there is sync to MAL. I can watch episodes directly in Aniyomi or mark as played to update the list, and also add and delete shows, managing my MAL completely.

Aniyomi updates as soon as an episode is marked as completed. It has an options menu for episodes and statuses like Watching, Plan to Watch, and Completed when you add, so I never need to use the actual website. From there, I have the MALSync userscript installed as a PWA for less RAM usage than the extension.

From MALSync, it has a nice UI that connects to many websites with direct links, so my MAL list opens and then AnimeKAI PWA (or any PWA) opens automatically. I use AllManga PWA for manga.

From there, I use NexVid realtime AI upscaler extension to do 720p > 1440p with a line art temporal filter for quality. This is optional, but it’s nice having 1440p and 4K for free and on a crap laptop.

I like it because it’s just 2 PWAs, 1 phone app, and 1 Chrome extension for a synced anime library, with NexVid adding optional 4K using Waifu2x. I can use Aniyomi or MALSync PWA as a MAL manager without using the MAL website. Links in MALSync automatically open in AnimeKAI, AnimeNexus, or whatever site I click on from the quicklink menu and have installed as a PWA.

This also keeps my MAL independent from any sites in case they go down holding my list hostage. Is this a good solution or did I make it needlessly complicated? Is there just an app that did all of this and I wasted hours coming up with this?

you can get up to 2013 vehicles the whole program and the CDs, I believe it's on public trackers maybe but also I forget FL or TL. It's like 50 CDs each with however many hundred vehicles or something, you find which one you need for your vehicles and only leech those.

But you could also use wget on the site, read the wget manpage it goes over a bunch of options to scrape in a controlled manner so your client doesn't get abuse banned but there is probably a tool out there to do it for you as well I just don't know of it personally.

Rather than wget I'd use dev tools in my browser to get a few requests in the form of curl commands for both individual pages and downloads. Then I'd vibe code a shitty python script for scraping that mimics browser headers etc. You can feed saved html of different pages to the LLM so it knows how to scrape with beautifulsoup or whatever. Then you get a script where you just copy paste the URL into it and it downloads saving you a lot of manual effort. This could turn into just mass collecting all the URLs at once and downloading them one by one so you don't appear too suspicious.

Consider Cox as the stand in for the entire infrastructure layer of big tech. That's not how they started out. They started out as an arm of legacy of media. The entire music industry has had their business model upended by the tech industry. People like us pirating kicked it off but they seized the opportunity.
