No they don’t. Azure runs of a version of Windows Server. They call it Cloud Host or something like that.

competition is good hopefully this forces MS to get their shit together but I wont bet on it much like the m1 wasn't a wakeup call. At the very least amd and intel have improved their cpus so modern thinkpad running linux can go ~11h now browsing the web but not when compiling c++ code.
