so what is /fit/'s choice for a linux native app? need to build a text editing thingamajig and wanted something that looks like reasonably modern. thank you for your opinions

then you should use Tauri or le evil Electron.
think about it now before you start building only to realize you want it on other DEs too and have to build a new one.
