A screenshot would've been better received

1. Free publicly accessible AI is completely and utterly unprofitable. It's a net loss. Generative AI in general is still unprofitable.
2. Basic usage plans are mostly unprofitable too and will inevitably be downgraded.
3. Generative AI brings no real-world value in 99% of use cases (for each dev using AI, there's 1000 pajeets generating slop and porn), it's a store front to bring investments.
4. Only B2B and government deals are somewhat profitable, hence why Scam Altman pulled the plug today to focus on catching up to the competition in coding agents and enterprise solutions.
5. They don't really want you to have free access to AI just for the sake of it. The vast majority of compute will be allocated to private businesses in the long run.

Bonus. Slop generated by pajeets is polluting training data and considerably slowing down progress. AI slop will always look like AI slop because of the positive feedback, even on curated datasets.

I posted it in an earlier thread, but the one image generator I have access to would cost $35-60 to generate a 30 second 1080p video at 30 fps based on their pricing. You can't math that into a viable product when all that's happening is someone making a hyper specific fetish video.

>>
>>108449503
>but the genie is never going back in the bottle when it comes to programming.
AI coding is no different to any of the other low-code/no-code fads that have sprung up over the decades. Every time someone thinks they've finally licked having to do actual work to make software, reality bites them in the ass and their VB6/Delphi/Hypercard nonsense gets entirely replaced by traditionally coded real software. Same for all your claude/clawed slop-gen. You can fill your github with generated "full stack" web dev as much as you like, the people who will survive the long winter will have used a text editor. Maybe it can have colors.
>>
>>108449609
Incorrect. AI is a fundamental paradigm shift in software development. Within two years every single person doing software development as a job will be using primarily AI—they will not be writing a single line of code by hand, and most will not even see the code at all. The only people still left refusing to use AI will not even match one one thousandth the productivity of the most retarded Timmy with a ChatGPT subscription. Face it. AI is the future and you will be Left Behind, Luddite.
>>
>>108449424
why can't she use Seedance 2.0? it's way better than Sora on anime
>>
>>108449670
Sora is still one of best in hiding the inconsistencies and audio generation. Seedance does nothing but making the same hallucination without any story telling.
>>
>>108449503
The problem isn't even AI, it's the hype around it that makes 55 IQ retards in management roles think they can replace every person in their company with a ChatGPT subscription.
When the hype finally dies down, there will still be programmers of some kind making software, just using AI now.

It's really helpful if you're writing a book that quotes or derives information from other books. Like for example I wrote an entire monster manual based on creatures from Japanese mythology, it helped me get info about each one, think up stats for them, which plane they would be related to, how would they function in the D&D realm (Wa/Kozakura), generate images for them, page layout, and so on.

Thought the same lol.
They're not sending their best.

It cost almost 100 times more to train video models than llms.
Hardware isn't there yet. Maybe in 5 years.
>>
>>108451166
And then they filter the fuck out of it

Good, we as a society are not ready for even the most primitive form of AI. People got technology that could generate or somearch anything to possibly help them in their daily lives, and niggas immediately used to shit out a tsunami of ragebait, genuine misinformation, attempting to recreate dead family members, and taking the clothes off of fucking children. Seeing people argue with grok on Twitter like it's a real human person is some of the most depressing shit ever
>>
>>108451416
Rightwingbros making fun of the troons for believing men can become women and proceed to be the exact same thing, believing they can be artists and film makers thanks to AI without the proper requirements to be the real thing.
>>
>>108451416
I knew AI sloppa was bad, but what really sealed it for me was when sora dropped and all of those dedicated "gore" and accident Instagram pages started spamming blatant AI generated violence as if real.
>>
>>108451496
They also generate fake protestor footages and fake evidences for their smear campaign. At this point, i unironically rooting for the trannies to win.
>>
This is the ultimate fate of all cloud-locked AI image/video generators, including Seedance 2.0 if the models are never released for local use.
>>
>>108448295
I type in "thank you" after every chatgpt prompt, because I know it costs them money. No matter how small amount, I'm doing my part.
>>
>>108446377
This is because jeets were generating a video every few minutes to upload to youtube/instagram via script to try to farm views from dumbass children or other jeets or bots.
These videos cost something like 10-15 dollars a video for OpenAI to generate, and hordes of jeets were generating them each second using free tokens.
>>
>>108451840
>Hehe drawfags just got owned. Anyone can produce animation and artworks now
>NO NOT LIKE THAT!
>>
bros why does this win feel so hollow?
>>
>>108451924
So many internet services are ruined due to jeets. Anything that doesn't rangeban India is doing it fucking wrong.
If I ever make a public website I'm rangebanning everything except America and western Europe. Japan can come too.

Those of the commonwealth are the enemy of good posting, including Canadians (jeets) and UK (Pakis). Australians don't even need minorities to shitpost, they just do it naturally.

I actually want to do this for a personal site in the near future for a comic project of mine (I want to host a built-in forum too) but I'm kind of afraid of someone realizing this and dragging me down for racism
>>
>>108452314
Just claim you were getting lots of hacking attempts from IPs in those regions. Its really that easy.
>>
>>108451567
its not even a partisan problem, AI as it is just cant advanced way too much way too fast, and we as humans havent even had the time to properly think of how this shit can be used beyond "le based memes" and AI shitposting. like fuck man AI is becoming normalized for use in churches with AI claiming to be jesus talking to old people which, regardless of anyone's views on religion, should be fucking alarming

I think she's supposed to be a doctor but she's wearing a medical gown and a bracelet so I think she's just some psycho patient waterboarding another one

This is what happens when you are dependant of a proprietary service provider.

You've been saying this for the past 15 years.

this is all because vidgen was letting badgoy make wrongthink memes which went viral too fast
>>

cope, it's very powerful for making hate filled memes

They paywalled it and then severely limited subscribers on top of that. I know a guy that subs and he's been getting rate limited in under 10 videos depending on the day. They're also tracking by IP now, so juggling accounts takes a VPN. The imagine API has also been going down pretty often too, so its hard to get a feel for what they're even doing.

Somehow, I did not realize Sora was an OpenAI product until just now
>>
>>108448446
Might be true actually. And now with Sora gone more people will be forced to use Grok for video generation.
>>
>>108457344
You literally cant use grok anymore lmao
Paid is somehow worse than free a month ago.

This shit was coming and they knew it, probably bleeding money for months.
This is a joint effort so they both dont lose face in investors eyes and so they can try to find a marketable option
But they know theyre fucked and this is just another attempt to stop whats coming
>>
>>108457439
I don't know why image generation was pushed behind a paywall, image generation has gotten very cheap so 1-5 images per day should be allowed for free users.
>>
>>108456934
because of the goggles, otherwise it would be creepy
>>
>>108454235
Why draw when you can AI them?
>>
>>108457494
Image/video generation is expensive. You just have skewed perspective due to local genning
>>
>>108458100
Cloud image gen isn't much better than local image gen these days. If you replace their image generator with flux how many people will care
>>
>>108457561
nah bro it's the lemony snicket's vibe
