This has been my reference for a dream comfy bedroom setup for the last 15 years, but almost all my equipment is black/gray and I have severe OCD so I will inevitably flip-flop depending on my mood and spend a whole lot of money swapping between light and dark. Any ideas on how to resolve this dilemma? Holding my breath on getting a white desk mat, some more keycaps, and white grip tape if I don't just find myself soldering quiet switches on an aqua mouse. But normal people don't overthink this hard and spend this much money when there are other priorities in the house.

I know I haven't taken a picture in ages to update it.It looks largely the same but with less boxes around it, at this point I'll set up a desk and move everything around after a large order from Virpil arrives so I can just set up everything at once. The idea is to move the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and hosas to the desk and keep the pc on the coffee table it is currently on then place a integrated amplifier next to it for my speakers and subwoofers.

It needs some more work, but it's getting there. I have to stain the bed frame, hang larger artwork and I'm thinking of a narrow vertical bookshelf on top of the chest to put the books on. I also haven't finished hiding the cabling, it's not going to be easy because an extension cord is simply too bulky to hide under the desk, so I'll have to extend the power cables. There's a desktop PC hidden under the bed.
