Cleaning PC screens sucks
It's 2026, why isn't there a flawless, easy method yet?

>oh you just get a microfiber cloth and spritz 2ml of water on it
NO, man
>>
>>108449474
what do you propose
>>
idk I just use windex never had a problem
>>
I straight up use water with a paper towel. Never had any issues. My cheap monitor from 2010 still functions daily.
But I also agree with you.

Water can leave a residue
>>
Distilled water + microfiber cloth, ez
>>
>>108449585
I have an ASUS VE247H so I wasn't sure if I could use glass cleaners on its material.
I can't even find out what this is, some kind of polymer I guess, but not glass.
Windex makes sense for glass displays. Never had residue issues on mine since I follow up with dry paper towels.
>>
They need to make monitors with gorilla glass screens.
>>
In the future, you won't need screens
>>
>>108449742
yeah, cuz we'll be dead

Can't wait to have to clean the connectors of my neuralink

i dont see any residue or streaks from just using cheap microfiber cloths with some water from my water bottle, just dampen a little bit and wipe in a circle then dry it with a dry part of the cloth
>>
>>108449551
This is what I do too. I gradually go more dry and it looks like new every time.

But that’s literally what you do. Distilled water and a microfiber cloth is the best option.

distilled water and paper towels

>>
>>108449585
use distilled water
>>
>>108450293
this legit sounds like a good idea

now, ask the AI is sulfuric acid is strong enough to polish the monitor surface or do we need something more potent?
>>
>>108449474
Lil' dust hurt no one.
You shine maxxing, boy?
>>
>>108450111
Just don't eat at your PC and don't sneeze on it
>>
>>108450583
babywipes will slowly kill the coating.
use instead distilled water.
>>
>>108450096
sneezing semen onto the screen

Pic related is what I use for everything it is the best cleaner hands down.

For internal components I use isopropanol 70 to 99 percent, 99 is better it evaporates almost instantly.

I use a normal cheap microfibre cloth.

>t. dark room goblin
If you actually opened your windows on a sunny day for once, you'd see how dirty your screen is too
>>
>>108452896
Stop being a pig and don't eat at your PC.

>Cleaning PC screens
why, dust and cum creates a nice texture on the screen that acts like a paper filter
>>
>>108451105
wtf type of babywipes are you using lol? Sandpaper brand?
>>
>>108449474
Just use a grinding tool. Gets that dust off in no time at all!
>>
>>108449474
>>oh you just get a microfiber cloth and spritz 2ml of water on it
This is the flawless, easy method.
Just a cotton cloth and water.
>>
>>108453672
Stop being a goblin and open the blinds/curtains for once.
