/g/, I come asking you what's a good wireless keyboard/mouse brand. This one is absolutely awful
>wireless keyboard/mouseUse case?
>>108461648just normal browsing. I just don't want to have to deal with cords
>>108461639The $20 walmart logitech. Indestructible. I just tossed my last one that I had in a workshop high dust and solvent environment for 5 years (mouse wheel sticking), and I realized it was still using the original battery.
>>108461924that's the one I'm trying to get rid of. Battery life doesn't matter if it just periodically and frequently stops responding
>>108461639Logitech is the best brand for wireless. Anything else will be worse
I have the logitech k270. Had to cushion the space bar a little bit with some cut up sponge because it was too clacky compared to the rest of the keys, but otherwise it's exactly what I wanted. It's pretty cheap too.
>>108462066>>108462042I'm not going to trust logitech in general when a brand new keyboard has the same issues as well
>>108462084I had the OP one and both the keyboard and the mouse stopped working within a couple of years. Got a (microsoft) keyboard which has been good for 3-4 years so far, and another Logitech mouse because it was the biggest one I could find and I have huge hands. That's also been good so far but I can understand why you don't trust them. I don't think there's anything else as good at the lowest end of the price range though, might be some chink companies if you look into it.
>>108462084I dunno what issues you're having, logitech hardware is usually good while the software sucks dick. So you have to be a bit more specific.Look up keyboard meetups and consider going to one to test out other people's keyboards. They probably have mice there too, but you don't really need to get the same brand mouse.
>>108462115yeah I'm currently using a family members keyboard/mouse and it seems to be working well. Haven't had the issue of it just not responding for a couple seconds frequently. I'll be arsed if I can identify the company since the logo is in Chinese
>>108461986I've never experienced that with my set across 4 pcs and 2 linux distros and 3 iterations of windows. Are you using a USB hub?
>>108462231no, the USB is plugged directly into the tower
>>108462235Maybe you got a dud... or maybe mine was just awesome? Huh... well I got no recommendations other than that. Good luck bro
If not logitech, might as well get Microsoft
rapoo is basically logitech if it was priced fairlyi wouldnt be surprised if they largely used the same manufacturers
