Still freezes with some programs when said program is doing a filesystem operation inside a opened Explorer window until the program is done. On remotes shares it still copies files to your PC and than back if you move something on the server instead of just telling the server to do it locally and showing you the copy/move dialog. Explorer is a joke.

Baking geometry maps isn't very user friendly and their quality is worse than Substance Painter. Ucupaint is good, but very limited, doesn't have filters and their stacks, doesn't have library of premade procedural patterns and smart masks, creating new layers involves manually creating new images, which is a bit cumbersome and slow, brush engine is default Blender's one so it's not great either. Blender is great and might actually be the best tool in existence for moving geometry around, snapping, proportional editing, using custom transform orientations, and in general doing all kinds of things with vertices, edges and faces. Outside of CAD scenarios at least.

Download their official installer from their website and the crack can be applied by hand using a hex editor, since they don't really bother with copy protection (being an old Amiga software company they know people will crack it anyways if they want). My brother has several licenses so I don't even feel bad for never having bought it myself.
