I have been conducting my own surveys of security cameras with IR illumination. I was surprised to see buildings I believed to be uninhabited were sometimes completely lit up with IR lights.

>>108463973You can try, but your rips will pay the price.
I recorded a Flock camera getting triggered by a car. The recording frame rate isn't high enough to capture the way it strobes IRL. I think the frequency of the strobe could be used to detect this cameras.
>>108463882interesting post morewhat did you record with
>>108463882Land of the free
>>108464102Wyze V3 with Thingino open source firmware that let me control the IR filter from the browser on my phone.
>>108464128Neat, though a more accessible option may be something rigged up using a pi zero and the noIR camera moduleI also know you can get 30fps out of those little modules (on a zero 2, anyway)
>>108463882you're on a light spectrum
>>108463882That's obviously because of the security perimeter. Do you not know about this?
>>108463882>empty buildings have security camsnuclear find, bro
>>108463882>>108464023>park car ~50 yards away>set up pellet gun in back seat>plink away>framerate so low that they don't capture anything>suddenly no signal>drive off like nothing>heh nothing personnel
>>108464303>triangulates your sound>Mcdicks captures you ordering a Mcfag earlier>Buying your Chinese pellet gun at walmart>Gait camera captures you at walmartAnon, just be a good goy and follow the law, in seriousness having pellet gun in your car is not a good idea, when you get pulled over, and it just happens you are in the area what the flock got destroyed. How quiet are pellet gun? I'm aware they can be suppressed but it still has to make sound?
>>108464351>dude shot spotter>doesn't know how loud a pellet gun ishehe shamone! (i agree don't do it!)
I caught this Flock camera with a more intense IR strobe than than the first one I filmed.
>>108463882Yeah the spectrum of gayness
>>108464521uh oh jew mad
Something about reflective materials or your own lights to return the IR and whiteout yourself
what are they lighting up? could it be special chemical marks?

>>108464807Be annoying as shit for anything that could.
>>108464881does this mean we can defeat flock with an environmentalist argument?
>>108464889Yeah, you just need to round up a few special souls who can 'see' IR and class action the shit out of them in Cali. Otherwise, you're basically down to Bats and Goldfish, who don't have a big lobby.
>>108464889>wefuck off faggotflock is keyed, it triggers you unmedicated schizo freaks

What kind of camera are you using to check this stuff? I've been interested in getting a camera to detect hidden cams just for fun.>>108464147Based
>>108463882You're probably seeing security cameras blasting IR out in every direction
>>108464147Electromagnetic, even
>>108464023You can see this at night, it looks like a red ring flashing around the lens.In my state there was an ordinance that they must have a green-light visible when they were taking pictures but they must have disabled it recently, I still see the IR Glow
>>108464351It sounds like "Tink", they're actually extremely quiet. Your car is louder than one. People have been caught sawing them down with angle grinders and have never been caught. Their capabilities are massively overstated.
>Safe List: Residents can add their vehicles to a "Safe List" to prevent their data from being included in searches, with options to delete footage of their vehicles entirelyUmm...literally what is stopping criminals from doing this?
>>108464807youre so retarded its great youve been drenched in IR since the 00s, any place with exterior security cameras has ir illumination it's literally completely safe, thats why its also used for tv remotes
>>108465672that's literally the point, these cameras and systems are to trick people into thinking their safe meanwhile the people in charge helped epstein escape while also replacing his body with a dna altered cloneor something like that

>>108464023>I recorded a Flock camera getting triggered by a car.it was triggered by you and you filming it. the NSA will get you soon. was nice knowing you OP
You can also use a very bright IR headlight to make footage of yourself useless
>>108465682youre so retarded its greatyouve been drenched in fluorocarbons since the 60s, any place, indoors or outside is sprayed or treated with PFAS. it's literally completely safe, thats why its also used for potatoes
>>108465690He was put in the ambulance then taken to a private jet, went back to his island, and is now hiding in Israel under the name "Quentin Tarantino".Or something like that.
>>108465682>it's literally completely safe>technology and chemicals permeate our lives more every year>everyone has gotten progressively more sick, gay and retardedI know its has to comprehend so many variables at once, but its clear the combined effects of all these things is having a negative impact on us.
>>108466127>has ~ hardAhh I can't proof read I'm too retarded! Help I'm over whelmed by chemicals and radio waves!
>>108466155You're the liberal mindset. You look at one variable for one specific effect, ignore all else.Conservatives often can't even say why they believe something, and there is usually not much thought behind what they believe but at least their ideas have survived longer than a sloppy paper that ignored most variables and will be replaced by another sloppy paper in two months.
>>108463882stop noticing right now
>>108466127what parts of the eye does IR stimulate?
>>108466958The frenulum.
>>108466958What part of the ear does infrasound stimulate? That's the wrong question because the question should be what health effects, if any, does excessive infrasound exposure lead to? The answer is a fuckton, and that's pretty clear by now.You can't just look at the rods in your eyes and try to find if the rods get activated by IR and conclude IR isn't harmful, no matter what, because you find the rods typically don't get activated by IR.you are trying to simplify complex systems to a degree where your simplification becomes so divorced from reality it no longer serves any purpose.Physics is extremely simple compared to anything you experience in your daily life, and even the fastest computers can't simulate three hydrogen atoms for two seconds.
>>108465628>What kind of camera are you using to check this stuff?Use any wifi camera that works with Thingino firmware so you can manually control the IR filter.
>>108464023>>108463882Is THIS why Stacy looks awful at age 30?
Sorta reminds me of the Taliban using digital cameras with the IR filter removed to detect American troops using IR light to travel under night vision.
>>108468564I doubt IR at those level has a measurable aging effect on human skin, if it was UV you might've had a point.I might be wrong.
>tfw I like to explore abandoned places but most of them have cameras nowThere's a cool building near me and the owner just sits there all day monitoring camera feeds and issues fines to anyone who visits. He also heckles them, claiming that they caused property damage and that he'll take them to court if they don't pay.
>>108470566What country is this?
>>108464147kek
>>108469559That's ironic.
You've discovered heat, congratulations
I notice those low voltage garden lights seem to emit quite a bit of IR even though they are dim in the visible spectrum.
To those who think IR can't hurt you I recommend you buy a Chinese 3 mW laser pointer and remove the little crystal inside, that will make it an IR laser. The next step is to activate it and to look into it for 0.2 seconds, then you can report back here if you became fully or only partially blind.
>>108471355classical strawman
>>108471383How so? If IR light can hurt your eyes at similar intensity as visible light then it is not unreasonable to think that strobing IR lights can be harmful, especially when it's dark outside. The bodies natural defends against strobing high intensity lights do not activate from IR exposure since it can't be detects by human eyes, so if it's dark outside you will neither look away nor will your fully dilated pupils constrict, that means far lower light intensity can hurt your eyes than what is normally required.
>>108463882You should connect that with a gps and an AI to determine the exact location of the camera. Then walk around and map them all and put it on the internet.

>>108471631Sounds like a good app for a phone since it can sense orientation has a camera and GPS.
>>108471153That just means they're still incandescent.
>>108463882>I have been conducting my own surveys of security cameras with IR illumination. I was surprised to see buildings I believed to be uninhabited were sometimes completely lit up with IR lights.yeah, pretty much every cheap CCTV cam has a right of cheap IR leads for cheapo digital NV somtimes additional IR led illumination panels. Whoopie fucking do.
>>108464950Most IR lighting has a faint red glow it depends on the filter stick over it. If you want real fun try a 300MW focusable IR laser, I can light up a football pitch with one. Also a great way to blind yourself if stupid
finally a good thread
